Buffalo is willing to move their 11-15th picks for a higher pick.

Their first rounder is also available.

Rebus you have a great sig. One of the best imo

Ladies and gentlemen, the first fleecing of the new season. And it didn't involve me. PROGRESS!

Nah, I agree with Edgar and think it's a fairly even trade, even favoring Berkowitz somewhat. Remember last season the 5th pick (Kobe Bryant) and a late 6th rounder brought back a 1st, a 2nd and a 3rd. (And that was too high a price IMO.)

Glad to see my coup from last year is still being talked about, I didn't even go looking for that trade, it was brought to me.  Thank you Steve Weinman  8)

Having trouble Dealing a pick?
Have a crazy trade idea that just might work?
Do you just need someone to talk to?

Then come to crazy KC's trade idea counseling. Come bounce trade ideas off of Memphis' GM before submitting them to the other GMs. Crazy KC's offers a judgement free and TP ridden zone where even the most ineeperienced GM's most asinine trade idea is scrutinized and developed along.
A TP with every PM.

1) i'm not rescinding this trade

2) heres my theory.  while the price may be high. you aint winning much with the 26th best player in the league.  i know have a chance to get a super duper star. and can then build around him with a 3rd round pick and the rest of my picks.  so sure have fun with a late first round pick and some 2nd rounders.  i'll have my choice of kobe, dwade, cp3, dh12 etc.

not thtat anyone asked, but I think you got the better end of the deal, New Orleans.

Well considering the Bulls made the playoffs last year with Kobe and a bunch of bench warmers, New Orleans will be fine.

Not so sure about #2 because you can have a top three player and then not have another pick until the 4th round and you might be surrounding him with very little. Then you look at a guy like me who has late first early second and forecasting down to the 40th pick you might get lucky and get an unreal combo of second tier players.

I was dealing with Rondo for that third pick too but I refused giving up my 3rd rounder. That was the deal breaker. There's just a huge drop of from late third round to late fourth round. At least according to my player ratings.

Seattle's offices are closed for the day. Messages left will likely be answered later tonight or tomorrow.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

thats fine... i didnt give up my 3rd rounder either... however if you stand pat at the end of the 1st  have fun at home during the playoffs.  how many super duper stars missed the playoffs this year....

dont even look it up, i'll let you know  0.  thats how many.  the nba is a super duper star league. so now that i am in a position to grab one, i feel that i can baisically punch my playoff ticket.

other than the pistons team that won a championship, every other champion has had a top 5 player on its roster.  so i felt that moving up gives me a chance at a super duper star and then finding the right supporting/role players around him is my challenge.

sure picking at the end of the first round gives you the opportunity to get 2 nice players, 2 nice players without a super duper star usually means your team is home watching the finals on ABC.

Sorry read that trade wrong. I see you did keep that 3rd rounder. Good for you. Well played.

Though I disagree about end of first round. I think end of round one a valuable PG with huge number potential will be there and at the beginning of the second some young wing and second banana big men will be there.

If the players I think will be there will be there, with breakout years my team would be playing in the playoffs.

Gainesville Celtic and I are still on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, plotting our draft strategy (although I am getting a little nauseous at this point, and my right leg has gone to sleep).

You can take my mind of things by bouncing trade proposals off me. While our plan of attack is currently in flux, we'd be curious to know which of you might be willing to trade out of the 2nd and/or 3rd rounds, and what your price tags would be.

Rebus Rankin, GM of the Buffalo Braves was interviewed today at a local Starbucks. Rankin stated that Buffalo is looking to add another 2nd or 3rd round pick and he urges all owners looking to move such picks to pm with offers.
