Since I didn't see anything in any of the rules about this, the Orlando Magics are pleased to introduce our coaching staff:

Head Coach: Greg Popovich

Associate Coach: Nate McMillian*

Assistant Coach: Clifford Ray

(*If there's an issue with having current head coach as an assistant, we'll gladly accept Tom Thibodeau as our Associate Coach  ;) )

The Chicago Bulls have decided against hiring Michael Jordan and instead are going with a former local HS star in Doc Rivers as their head coach. Tom Thibodeau has been named as Doc's top assistant and the third spot was going to go to Clifford Ray, but is now still open.

Also the Bulls would like to dispel the rumor that they have any interest in the Celtics former employee, Lucky, to be their mascot Benny the Bull.  He doesn't fit the ubuntu philosophy we are bringing to the Bulls.

On the eve of of the start of the NBA trade season, the Houston Rockets announced a Tuesday afternoon press conference, at which they are expected to introduce their new head coach, former Rocket's assistant, Tom Thibodeau.

With the suprise offer, Houston GM The Walker Wiggle trumps both the Memphis Grizzlies (Head Coach Rick Adelman) and Chicago Bulls (Head Coach Doc Rivers) teams that had wanted Thibodeau as their #2 and defensive strategist.

The Chicago Bulls are shocked by Tibs interest in Houston. The Bulls have hired Dick Harter (assuming he's still alive) as an assistant coach for Doc.

Edit: Don't trust any hires of Thibs ;) http://www.insidehoops.com/thibodeau-wizards-070307.shtml

Here's the relevant text for those to lazy to follow JohnnyRondo's link.

Quote
During his four seasons with Houston, the Rockets advanced to the postseason on three occasions and posted a pair of 50-win seasons. Thibodeau guided the Rockets to a top five ranking in the NBA in both opponents’ scoring defense and field goal percentage in each of the past four campaigns. In 2005-06, he worked with All-Star Center Yao Ming as he became the first Rockets player to average 20 points and 10 rebounds in a season since Hakeem Olajuwon in 1995-96. Thibodeau also led the Rockets’ summer league teams to a 10-0 record over the past two seasons.

Prior to joining the Rockets, Thibodeau spent the previous seven years as an assistant coach with the New York Knicks (1996-2003). During his tenure with the Knicks, New York set a then-NBA record by holding 33 consecutive opponents under 100 points in the 2000-2001 season. Thibodeau and the Knicks coaching staff also helped Jeff Van Gundy coach the Eastern Conference All-Stars in the 2000 NBA All-Star Game.

The Memphis Grizzlies are stunned that |the Bulls are claiming Coach T as one of their assitants as he has already been named Rick Adelman's top Asst. in Memphis.

Sorry I haven't been answering any Pm's. I've been on vacation the last week. If anybody is looking for the #7 pick in the draft, let me know. I might possibly trade up or down.

If this is the market rate for a 3rd or 4th rounder, I'll match nick's offer, *plus* you'll be in the good graces of two members of the mod staff. ;)
