At this point, Tony Allen is what he is....and that is an incredibly inconsistent player who has the ability to play excellent defense for stretches, and explode offensively for stretches, and then fall asleep defensively for stretches, and implode offensively. In between he is an uneven, if aggressive defender, and often invisible in a half court offense.
With that said, Tony is going to be an important player in the playoffs. He is the only potential defensive weapon we have off the bench, and if used with a quick hook when his mind starts wandering can do good things.
