lol at this entire post. I don't mean to sound rude, but I really hope this was a joke.
No joke there. Please. Elaborate.
And I meant start them in this last Wiz game and maybe the first couple (or just first) game in the 1st round against the Sixers to get used to playing and to get more PT.
We really need to get our starters rested, and I feel this is the most efficient way to do it.
Sorry if my suggestion was bad, though. Just throwing that idea out there. :\
First of all, TA should not be starting, and the reason's name is Ray. Since Ray has arguably been our best player for long stretches this year, I don't think that view needs any more defense.
Also, I don't mind if they play in the Wiz game - in fact, I support that. But there's no way the bench players should be starting any games in the playoffs. Every game matters in the playoffs. If you remember, we were supposed to sweep the Hawks in last year's first round, and they ended up taking us to seven games. What would have happened had we spotted them Game 1 to "rest our starters" or "see if somebody gets hot"? In the short term we would have given them motivation, because that's basically a diss to their team - we're telling them that we think we're so much better that we can give them a game
on our home court without putting the series in doubt. In the long term, we would have been a first round exit because their win in Game 6 would have ended the series instead of just forcing a Game 7.
Take nothing for granted when every game counts. We should be trying to win every game by 30, because every team will be trying to do the same to us.
