Why is Perk still out there when Baby has a foul to give?
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

And people say Tommy is a homer. At least he doesn't do it by hating on every other team.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Now I'm just waiting to see Giddens.

Did the Nuggets just call Tony Allen "pretty good"?  How about that.
They also said that Ray Allen was asking to be run over because he shot a wide open 3....

And that McHale "gave" Boston Kevin McHale.

And that Pierce didn't have a "winner's mentality" prior to the Ray and KG trades.

Sigh.
Oh well I know Tommy drives other teams fans just as batty.

He does, just usually the officials get most of the venom.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
Yeah, the Nuggets announcers are surprisingly objective, but they're getting awfully frustrated, and it's coming out in their calls.  Don't forget they beat us last time, they were hoping for a sweep.  Oh well...

You know what just hit me that made me a little sad...

We lost THVCPOB.

Who's our new human victory cigar? Can't be Walker because he has actual purpose and upside... Giddens? Eddie House's son? This is really almost nostalgically sad. Dare I say I miss POB?

Celtic will have to talk me through this... He's the grief expert since Will left.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

How does Denver's management not think about wholesale changes next season after this game? And they're in third place in the west!!

Funniest thing was how they said they wanted to get better defensively... and then got rid of Marcus Camby! One of the best defensive centers in the league! Incompetence.
Nene is a better defensive player at this point of his career. If he's in their line up they are a different team defensively. It was a luxury tax move but if Nene can stay healthy it will work out.

Nene may be better down the line, but I would have to disagree about him being a better defensive player now.

I love Bill Walker.  I don't care that he turns the ball over almost at Tony's rate.

Haha a "Let's go Celtics" chant audible in Denver.  Awesome.

I think the ratio of Celts/Nuggets fans left in the building is 95/5.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Camby plays crappy post defense. His value is almost entirely as a weak side and help defender. Even then he goes for the block too much. He is a really good rebounder still.
