You know what just hit me that made me a little sad...

We lost THVCPOB.

Who's our new human victory cigar? Can't be Walker because he has actual purpose and upside... Giddens? Eddie House's son? This is really almost nostalgically sad. Dare I say I miss POB?

Celtic will have to talk me through this... He's the grief expert since Will left.

Haha!  Agreed!!
I think Giddens is the new HVC

If you love somebody, set them free. If they return, they were always yours. If they don’t, they never were.

I think Giddens, yes.

Can we please play Bill Walker a little more the rest of the season?  I say that *not* because of the dunk, but because he has like 2 steals and a block in 5 minutes -- guy has a nose for the ball.

Hey new career high for Giddens!   (sorry-good to see the young guys getting into it though!)

I don't know how he'll pan out as a player, but I can't respect Sonny Weems after he failed JR Smith during the dunk contest.

dont give up on giddens and walker...would like to see them in quality minutes but they are athletic...this was a PERFECT win for boston...no KG...bench played well and starters rested the entire fourth. great road trip....

How does Denver's management not think about wholesale changes next season after this game? And they're in third place in the west!!

Funniest thing was how they said they wanted to get better defensively... and then got rid of Marcus Camby! One of the best defensive centers in the league! Incompetence.
Nene is a better defensive player at this point of his career. If he's in their line up they are a different team defensively. It was a luxury tax move but if Nene can stay healthy it will work out.

Nene may be better down the line, but I would have to disagree about him being a better defensive player now.
Camby plays crappy post defense. His value is almost entirely as a weak side and help defender. Even then he goes for the block too much. He is a really good rebounder still.

I agree with pretty much everything you said, so maybe you're right, TP. I think of him as a great shot blocker/shot changer so I look at his over-effort going for a block as part of his defense though, as opposed to someone like Dalembert who over-blocks very poorly and usually ends up goaltending.

Goal of last few possessions: get Walker and Giddens more shots.
