and there's still a third of a season left...

So we trade a 7 footer that has the potential to possibly wake up and be something for a scrub 3rd string guard that has no potential or will make no impact on this team whatsoever...great... ::)

Also I hate to break it to some of you posters, but the odds of the Knicks buying out Marbury to come to the Celtics, who they could play in the 1st round of the playoffs, is very doubtful.

I like Solomon better than Pruitt, but not Toronto's Solomon. He can play better than he did in the last few months though, I'm certain of that.

POB has no potential, at least according to two separate franchises at this point.

Solomon is a decent backup.  Nothing special, but decent.  He's a better player than POB, anyway.

Solomon got shown up in a bad way by the Raptors lack of ballhandlers, passers, penetrators, go-to scorers. That offense needed a third string point guard to be equal to a player of TJ Ford's caliber in order to be successful.

I agree that Solomon isn't as bad as he appeared in Toronto. He'll look a lot better in Boston when surrounded with the talent here.

I agree, the odds of POB being anything are slim, but there was still a chance.
