  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
He ranks #1 in missed lay ups after his super cool ball fake

Roy, would you trade Rondo for Aldrich straight up?

And Eddie House ranks #1 in missed shots after taking a dribble.  :P

Kick.

In light of the new evidence, this topic deserves to be up here, in all its shameful glory.

Trade Rondo.

Epic.

Rondo is as good as he's gonna get.  He should have broke out this year but instead he is playing   the same, which is good but not great.  He is going to demand a hefty salary in a year and I don't think we should invest in a point guard that can't shoot and isn't even the 3rd smartest player on his team.  It's known that Doc can't communicate with him and that's why they kept Sam around.

Rondo is a good player but I don't believe we will resign him and so if you can put a package together that lands a big and then sign Marbury.  I think our team is better.

A lot of people will disagree with this because of our current record but is Rondo the reason we have a great record?  He hurts and helps this team and we've won despite his faults more times than we've won because of his positive attributes.

Well he was better last night than the day you started this post.  So I guess he's not as good as he's going to get after all. ::)

In the initial poster's defense, he didn't know Rondo would start wearing a sleeve.  Those things really do work.

He's worked that side step move in nicely lately.  The guy is going to keep adding more tricks to his bag as he matures.  Really fun to see him grow.

People forget this should be Rondo's rookie this year. The fact that he's already got 2 solid years under his belt and is playoff proven is pretty amazing. His shot has improved from last year and should only get better. People forget that Nash wasn't really that good until his 3-4 year. He ended up with multiple MVPs. Rondo is already a better defender that Nash ever was.

Funny this thread definitely popped into my head when Rondo had 22pts,6asts, and 4rebs by the half. He would've had a near triple double if Doc didn't keep him out for the first 7 minutes of the fourth, while doing everything he could to kill Pierce's engine!  >:( ... oops getting carried away.

Yup,I had the proud dad feeling watching Rondo make Nash look like a Senior citizen.

I was wrong.  I guess I didn't think he would start shooting, but he did.  I thought his defense was overrated and maybe it is but he does have the ability he just needs to focus more and be consistent about it.

I've noticed ever since he played Tony Parker back in the reg season that he's been driving straight to the basket like Tony does.  I think he has learned that part of Tony's game.

I underestimated his heart as well.  And his chip on his shoulder when everyone talked about Rose after game 1, he took it personal.

Anyway this was a weak post and I deserved to get slammed for 6 pages.

the only bad thing that i can say about rondo is that i wish he would play with the same fire against crappy PG's as he does against the all-star/former mvp ones.

I give you some major props for bringing this thread back to the top and taking your lumps.

After late night drunk posting stupid things, I have prayed that a thread gets buried in deep into the web site never to be seen again.
