the cavs have a multiple game losing streak in them at some point...as do the lakers...just need to beat the hornets and mavs and get to the break...they have a better sked at the end of he season than these other teams

Just like the Boston play callers think KG never fouls, just like the Lakers callers think Kobe never fouls.

EVERY home announcer is this way.

you are right...but when you ONLY get the cavs games and have to hear it about a team you dislike it gets so old....

I dunno, I think if that sequence happened to us Tommy would grumble a bit but Mike would probably concede that it was basically the same play as on the other end.  Let's hope we don't find out though...

The broadcast I heard had both announcers say "well, they called it both ways."

Quote over at FearTheSword

Let me get the obvious out of the way early.  The two fould called in the last second were what can be good and bad in the NBA.  First, LeBron was fouled on the first play by Danny Granger.  Granger bodied LeBron, not allowing him to go and get the ball. The 2nd call, the one on LeBron, was simply a bad call.  LeBron went straight up and blocker the pass.  It was a make-up call and a bad one at that.  I know it is easy to think, since I am a Cavs fan, that I am biased, but I'm being objective.  All I ask is for the officiating to be consistent, and in the NBA, it isn't

Those calls were pretty consistent if you ask me..and justice was served

When you got it going, you got it going. I just keep my focus down the stretch. That's when I want the ball. I'm just not afraid to fail."-PaulPierce

The only difference I see in those calls is LeBron (on the last play) was the first player to the ball, whereas on the prior play Granger bodied him AFTER contact with the ball.

I don't think you'll ever see that sequence called again.

Regardless, 50 games into the season the Cavs are the last team to lose two games in a row, and it came on a short-handed night.

mike brown just went off on the refs...said theu stole the game from the cavs..wonder if he gets fined?? and the cavs announcers just said it was a make up call...NEITHER plays were fouls...game should have ended with granger stealing the ball

No need to make excuses.  The Pacers weren't exactly playing at full strength, with Jeff Foster and Marquis Daniels sitting.

It's not an excuse...

They lost two in a row 50 games into the season on a short handed night.  Those are facts. I didn't say "they lost because they were short handed" did I?

Generally, "it came on a short-handed night" is an excuse.

But regardless, Cavs fans can justify this as they'd like.  The Cavs are once again behind the Celtics in the race for home court advantage, so I'm happy.
