Gerald Wallace has sustained a partially collapsed lung from a flagrant foul commited by Andrew Bynum. ESPN recap of the game did not have it on tape. Can someone post it if they find it? Thanks. Wonder if he will be getting a serious suspension.

What suprise, ESPN didnt show it or talk about it, wow
If that was was Perk, they would be having a 24 hour marathon replay of the incident

Also, i was in a chat at the time of the game, and lakers fans were complaining saying it wasnt a flagrant... Losers.
Wallace was in agonizing pain, and must be hella sore today...hopefully he'll be okay :/

That wasnt  a basketball play, and he made no move for the ball

yea I was surprised it wasnt mentioned by espn.  they have an article up talking about the injury, but the video clip embedded in the article is just highlights from the game, with nothing on the injury.

it's too bad Wallace cant seem to stay healthy.

It wasn't that bad, it doesn't warrant any further action from the league.

It was a nice elbow/forearm to the chest and rib cage as Wallace was vulnerable and airborne.  This will be kind of like the way Dirkoff elbowed Scals in the face...consequence free. The NBA...where conconcussions and collapsed lungs happen (so long as you are not a star player in the league office's mind).

Do any of those two things to Lebaby or Kobaby and it's a year suspension.

It was just a flagrant, nothing else. GWallace is just really unlucky Bynum's elbow caught him where it did. Poor Guy just cant catch a break.

I feel bad about the injury, but I don't have a huge problem with fouls like this.

Not that bad? this isnt football..he made no play on the ball and Wallace has a collapsed lung and a broken rib

Not a flagrant? where was the play on the ball? i mean cmon now, there was a flagrant called on the bobcats earlier in the game and it wasnt even half as bad..you can tell from the other lakers body language that it was a flagrant..even the lakers announcers said it was a flagrant

They made the correct call, it was a flagrant and the refs handled it there and then. It doesn't deserve any further action.

This is clearly a flagrant foul.  He tried to wrap him up while he was already airborne.

This is no different that what Williams did to Rondo in last year's playoffs.
God bless and good night!
