I'm designating this thread for CBers to get feedback on roster moves.

I'll start:

Roy Williams @ATL
Hines Ward   @Houston

Who would you play?

Any time you can get @ATL, it is probably the way to go.

  • The good ole days.
You should be starting Williams over Ward regardless of opponent this year.

I have one that I've been going back and forth on...

Maroney vs. Chiefs
J. Lewis vs. Cowboys

I would normally start Lewis, but he's had a bum hamstring and the Cowboys pose a much tougher test defensively than the Chiefs.  What do you all think?

Maroney only because the Pats have a chance to kill the clock late if they're up.  And it's the exact opposite for Lewis.

Lamont Jordan will score in this game, I guaruntee.

Am I crazy for starting Desean Jackson over Marvin Harrison and Crayton?

He's the #1 receiver this week and he's been lighting corners on fire.  I just don't trust Harrison yet.  I think Crayton will have a good game but it basically comes down to me wanting to look cool because the rookie I started blew up.

Am I crazy?

I would say you're crazy...You say you don't trust Harrison, but Desean Jackson is yet to play a regular season NFL game.

I know he has been lighting defensive backs up in preseason, but I would go with Harrison hands down.

If he can even play, he's questionable on the colts report last i heard.

He's still not 100% off the knee injury, and rumors say he may never be again.

Harrison has played throughout preseason and isn't listed at all on the injury report.

I'm not saying he's not a risk, or doubting that he may never return to his pre-injury form, but let's get the facts straight.

I drafted Harrison because he has comeback player of the year written all over him.  But for the first game I don't want to take the chance of the colts giving him a light load.

R Brown is probably out as well so Desean is the number 1 guy.  He has to at least catch 5 balls.  I think its actually safer to play him.

He worked with Jerry Rice all off season!!!

Looks like you wouldn't have been crazy, after all.  Jackson looks fabulous.
