The Minnesota Timberwolves add more size, but this time a player that actually has SOME track record in the NBA. With the 2nd pick in the 11th round, they select the NBA sophomore that had a higher PER last year (as a rookie) than Sean Williams, Kendrick Perkins, Joel Przybilla, Ben Wallace, Spencer Hawes, Zaza Pachulia, Mark Blount, and Darko Milicic. Not that it's impressive... but he has the possibility for great value here. At 7'0, 270 lb. from Pitt, with Per48 averages of almost 21-13-3... the Wolves select Aaron Gray.
Now THAT was a mouthful for the commish to read at the podium.
P.S. I swear I read he was injured and possibly out most of the year, yet in a quick google search didn't find any confirmation. I was going to take him either way, but does anyone know for sure if he's hurt?
