Official message from the Commish's office in my living room.

The Heat has until 3 PM Monday to show up and make his picks.  If he fails to show up by then, the league will take control of the team, make picks for the team, be able to make trades (though they will be reviewed by the Moderator table) and will actively seek a new ownership group to hand over control of the team.

That's a pretty solid offer, I've got to say.  Too bad I don't have an 11th rounder.

sup y'all?

just got back from camping yesterday afternoon - happy to see i got my nba 2k8 binky in Rondey Carney...

i think the original Pacers GM - StartOrien - should be back today, but i'm not sure.  I saw that i had a bunch of messages involving trades for 'Sheed, you might want to direct any of those talks towards StartOrien, assuming he hasn't abandoned the team and left it in my hands.

I'll be sending him a PM to see if he's around today, him or i will update everyone as to who the Pacers contact man is.

Based upon how popular Lamar is on this blog, I would expect suitors to be lining up around the block.

I'll offer your Tony Battie and a 15th rounder. ;)
