People keep saying the Knicks are the class of the east I just dont see it
Raptors vs Knicks

C Big Z vs Eric Dampier- Big Edge Raptors
PF Jamison vs KG- edge Knicks, but not as big as people think
SF Joe Alexander vs Rashard- edge Knicks
SG Vince Carter vs Kelenna Azubuike-Big edge Raptors
PG Billups vs Andre Miller- Big edge Raptors

Bench Push- Posey is great but the knicks cant much up against curry or augustin

Augustin-Posey
Jared Dudley-  Robin Lopez
Sean Williams- Brent Barry
Eddy Curry-    Eddie House
              -Kris Humphries

i'd give a HUGE edge to my knicks in SF and PF... andre miller is a lot closer to billups, maybe just as good or better and everyone will see when you see the season that he will have with the 76ers this year.  And as far as no one being able to stop curry and williams, robin lopez is a fantastic defender.  Williams is a pure defensive player that will not put big numbers around and all you have to do against curry is push him around and let him get his 3 rebounds a game ( i should know i am a knicks fan) robin lopez is going to be a good nba player, people are underestimating him

  • No contaban con mi astucia !!!

I see your team as an 11-12 seed. Not enough good players or experience.

Listen pal, not all of us can have a front line of Yao and Okafor.  ;)

Okafor is OVERRATED
just IMHO
As some little players in the league are

Wilcox in a good day  is easily as good as okafor for example
Okafor is this years Ben Wallace
Good for a coupe of years only
and deficient ofensively
Yao is weak and fragil
that front line isnt as good as people is making it look

Note< Thats just m,y objective 2 cents feel free to disagree or dont even put attention to me

Its easy to see why people love knicks
theyre constructed as this year celtics basically
what not to love

BUT

They lack Paul pierce spirit and Ray Allen cold blood so theyre beatable.

Eddie house is good sure, but rings dont make up for stats.  And with Jamison pulling KG outside, I dont see how the knicks can possibly keep up inside.

Barry has a ring but averaged 5 points and 1 rebound in the playoffs
house has a ring, but averaged 2.5 points per game in the playoffs

I would rather have young guys with energy and potential to step up in big games than guys whos best days and RINGS are in their past.

No.  All three showed they were able to put in important contributions off the bench when it mattered the most, in the playoffs.  That's a huge plus.  And how can you say House and Posey's best days are in the past?   This past season was the end of the road for them?

And Jamison against KG, shot 35% from the field.  40% against Lewis.

KG against Jamison,    21.5  12.3  4.5  on 52% shooting.

Those two are not close in a matchup.

and hello... dampier IS the 2nd best center in the nba   hahahha

maybe no, but he deserves more respect than what he is getting... low post o-fense so KG can play the high post

In games where He was the teams primary offensive target because Arenas was out.....
And how many games did the Wizards beat the celtics in this year?

And again you can make statements but please try and back them up, but look at the stats
Barry has a ring but averaged 5 points and 1 rebound in the playoffs
house has a ring, but averaged 2.5 points per game in the playoffs

Just saying they are great in the playoffs doesnt make it so.  And i never said posey wasnt great.  But lets try and not be homers and be objective.

I hear what you're saying, but I think the two make each other infinitely better. Okafor keeps Yao out of the low post(reducing chances of injury), and Yao makes it easier for Okafor to score around the basket.

joe alexander (in my opinion) was the most overrated rookie in the draft and will be awful in the nba... i think that is why nobody has the raptors higher than the knicks and nets.  You do have a very good team, think you need a better starting SF

17 ppg, 6 rb, 2 assists, 1.5 blocks out of a sf in the best basketball conference in college.... Amazing Athlete with a reported incredible work ethic and a 6-8 230 frame.  Ya that sounds like an awful 21 year old

The question is, could the Eastern Conference All-stars beat the Trailblazers?

The Knicks have a good team but here's something to consider, KG has had the most success when he's had 1-2 top scoring threats with him (Pierce and Ray this year, Cassell and Sprewell in 2003/2004). Who does that for this Knicks team?

Nah dont worry about that, there bench with guys that averaged 5 ppg and 2.5 ppg in the playoffs with force the other teams to curl up in the fetal position because they have RINGS and it doesnt hurt they they have celtics on the bench either

Alonzo Mourning will be my difference maker.   :D ;D :)

I'm developing some Western Conference pride, though.  Whoever comes out of the West will destroy the pansy East coasters!

(Unless it's the Nets).
