Now that the storm has passed and my connection is back (I hope)

Lucky man.  The storm has just arrived on Long Island, and boy is it pounding.  Forget "raining cats and dogs."  I believe most of the Bronx Zoo is currently descending...

Milwaukee, WI-

After the recent trade the bucks president released this statement to the press:

"We'd like to announce that we have acquired in a trade Mike Miller and Antonio McDyess. It was tough for us to let go a player like Camby as well as Ricky who we love but we believe Miller is just going to be a better fit for our ballclub. His ability to spread the floor for our slashers Tony and Josh are gonna make them better. In addition it will also give more room for Marreese down low who we can now bring into the starting lineup. We think Marreese has aa chance to be special here. we think he has lotto talent and that he's the next great low post big man. Others have stated he has 'top 5 pick' potential and we believe he and Josh can lead this team in the future.

Dice comes off the bench with his great professionalism which he has done before on playoff teams. We also acquired an extra pick in this draft."

Also, wdleehi, I think I've officially joined the club on this one.  We just lost power for about ten minutes.  This is as nasty a storm as I've seen in quite some time here on the Island.  Could be going out again anytime.

And here comes the hail!

with no pick in this round and none until #30 in the 10th the las vegas lakers are happy to see only 7 of the players on their list have been selected.

if 3 of my next 7 slide until pick #14 in the 11th i'll give every gm a tommy point.

Late ninth round as a back up center, I could do worse.

Well, it worked out pretty well the first time.  Maybe they can trade him for Caron Butler again. ;)
