Odd pick, Redz.  No discernible character issues or other noticeable defects.  I don't get it.

The Blazers select Tony Battie.  He's not the best player left on the board, but he probably *is* the best veteran big man left.

Wow I quite honestly had forgotten about Battie after he missed all last year with injury.

Great value with a 10th round pick  though there is still some decent folks out tehre like you said

There's still plenty of room for more knuckleheads.  I'm finally getting the "gravy" part of the trade you and I did!

It appears as though the Hawks have attained the 6th pick in round 10 from the Thunder. A decision on the secondary part of the deal was still to be confirmed at bedtime, but the main part of the deal is going to happen.  When Hawks management arises from its slumber we will have a final decision on which curtain they chose the prize behind. Either way the 6th pick will be headed their way (pending approval).

Yes, I threw in Beasley with the 6th pick in the 10th to gather up a bucket full of 12th round picks   ::)

I'd call my squad Phi Slamma Jamma, but I don't think they spent that much time in school.

After my slumber,
I've PM'ed the Thunder,
to confirm that a deal has been made.

And while I might wonder
if I've made a blunder,
I think we're both pleased with the trade.
