Grizzlies selects J.J. Hickson

BEAST!

Saw him play on several occasion last year. He was like a man amongst boys.  His skills a extremly unpolished but I could see him being even better than a Leon Powe and/or Jason Maxiell. The question is if he has the work ethic of those two guys.

Yeah, as much as i liked the Thompson pick, I had JJ Hickson just ahead of him on my board.


Meantime & likewise, back in the real NBA, as much as i liked Courtney Lee for the Magic, they were IDIOTS for not taking a shot at a PF prospect like Hickson to pair up with Howard for the next decade.

Guess that's why i'm running the Magic now

I think the Bucks got the better players in the deal but those two 10th rounders could have been really useful. Should have done this one as close to straight up as possible.

We did get a pick back in that deal so it was close to straight up.

I get the feeling he's going to have some 15 min spurts when people will be saying he's the next Kevin Durant. And then he'll be the next Gerald Green. Then the next Carmelo. Then the next Stromile..and on..and on...
