I think all roster have to be set by 8 PM Monday.

The first set of roster reviews one Tuesday.  We will do the West this week, the East next week.

So, let's say

Tues - Northwest Division

Wed -  Pacific Division

Thurs - Southeast Division

then the following week,

Tues - Atlantic Division

Wed - Central Division

Thurs - Southeast Division

We will open that weekend up for one more round of trades.

Then Monday, we will start with the divisional polls.

Sounds like a plan.

The one after all the teams give their press conference.  That way, if a GM doesn't like how his team was looked at, he has the chance to make a change before the voting begins.

Hmm...  when will I ever find time to put together my press conference? ;)

Nice plan.

I figured you would get that head start and put yours out on Monday so the new GMs get a chance and see what the 'press conferences' are all about.

And just so everyone knows, Roy went for the extra credit on this project.

Nice.  Unfortunately there's nobody on the Heat roster I can use, but I'm sure there will be interest in Chandler and B. Diddy.

There has been a trade:

Atlanta trades Jermaine O'Neal, Ben Gordon, Roy Hibbert and Jason Hart

Charlotte trades Chris Kaman, Jason Richardson, and Zach Randolph

Interesting.  I'm still digesting that one a bit.  My guess is that Charlotte didn't value Randolph very highly, and I can certainly relate to that.

If he didn't value Randolph then he got good value for him.

Am I the only one that thinks this deal is a bit absurd? I guess I'm generally against vetoes and would hate to veto the rookie GMs 1st trade, but this is 2 legit starters/borderline allstars (JRich Kaman) plus a starter who's a headcase for an injured starter (JO) a very good 6th man and 2 imo scrubs/3rd stringers at best.

Jrich was traded for iverson and kaman for Okafor I believe... Just seems way lopsided.

If randolph was so undervalued, waive him or deal him for Price straight up

From my perspective, I can see why a GM would trade Kaman for Jermaine (J.O. is much better offensively, and probably a better defender).  I can see why a GM would trade Richardson for Gordon (Gordon is younger, without the history of injury issues).  I can see why a GM would trade Randolph for Hibbert and Hart (the Knicks would do that deal in a heartbeat, as would I).

As such, I think the trade is definitely justifiable.  Perhaps Charlotte should have looked around for better value for Randolph, but I'm not privy to what type of offers they were receiving.

So the days listed are press conference dates?

Also there are 2 Southeast conferences, surely one of them's Southwest? That would be in the first week right?
Anything is possible!!!
