The Atlanta Hawks, in a bizarre move, release recently acquired Luc Richard Mbah a Moute.

Mbah a Moute did receive a Hawks hat as a parting gift, since he was not with the team long enough to be fitted for a uniform.

"Ubuntu, Y'all!!" signed off the weary but jubilant MAgics GM as he boarded a plane for Atlanta to see if he too could be signed then waived by the Hawks in exchange for a Throwback Jon Koncack jersey.

Man, I'm not sure I like how waivers work.  Seems completely arbitrary and whoever can't make it is screwed.  Not that I have a better idea, but I could see how this could lead to some petty bickering (not that our group would stoop to that...)
