Has anyone claimed the team yet?

Tradetime has claimed the time.  Give him a few minutes before bombarding him with trade proposals, though, okay? ;)

can someone verify who the GM of the Bobcats is?  Roy wrote Tradetime but someone else PMed me....

Tradetime is the GM.  I received a PM from someone else but do not know why.

Having received confirmation that Ricky Rubio is ineligible to play in the NBA, the Las Vegas Lakers sign 7'1" Russian prospect Artem Zabelin (20). He will play for CSKA Moscow for one more season before making the move to the NBA.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Just give him a few years of working with our big man coach, Clifford Ray  ;)

Clifford Ray evidently was cloned by alien scientists, because he's the big man coach for like, the whole league.

The Washington Wizard's would like to announce that they have hired Clifford the Big, Red Dog as an assistant coach. Clifford was brought in to help develop our derth of young big men as well as to make Joakim Noah's hair look less absurd.

While you're all battling it out over Clifford Ray, I'd like to point out that Tom Thibodeau has agreed to become our Defensive Specialist.

Yours and 17 other teams. While my coaching staff is: Eddie Jordan, John Wooden, Mr. Wizard and Clifford the big red dog, with Madam Pomfrey heading up the former Phoenix Suns medical staff.

Beat that with a stick!

FTR, I've already called Dibs on David Blatt, and Jeff Van Gundy has recently agree to come on as an assistant coach, both to aid in Blatt's departure from Europe, and to help Nene, Brandon Roy and Mike Conley develop into top tier team defenders.

The Las Vakers Lakers would like to announce that Mark Jackson has been hired as coach following the sacking of Phil Jackson.

More to come.

What, did you decide to help us all avoid the shameless self promotion during the playoffs again this year and give him a shot?

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Although, he may be back during the playoffs even as our coach as the playoffs aren't a realistic target for us this year.

Besides, how bad can he be? He's gotta be better than the Thunder coach, right?

Jeff Van Gundy is under contract to the Clippers, sorry. Thanks to the Lakers for hiring Jackson and getting him out of our offices.

There's about a 0% chance that he ever plays in the NBA, but the Blazers acquire Dimitris Diamantidis.
