GM Rebus Rankin of the Clippers had this to say about the recent free agent signing of Brian Cardinal. "Anytime you can sign a player who averaged 3ppg and 3rpg you have to jump all over. When its a player who you think can add the comedic press conferences that Scalabrine brought to the Celtics last year, you are even more motivated."

The above was submitted to the league office today, as part of a copyright infringement lawsuit the Atlanta Hawks are submitting against the Washington Wizards on behalf of Hawks GM, Lucky17.

It is unclear what damages/compensation Atlanta is seeking, although rumor has it Delonte West was sighted at Dulles Airport boarding a southbound flight this afternoon, wearing a limited edition Rasheed Wallace Hawks jersey.
