I haven't been to much this summer, but in the next two months I will be seeing a bunch of good shows (this is what will be holding me over until the season starts)...

Here is who I will be seeing...

Alkaline Trio (twice)
Weezer
Straylight Run
Anberlin
Kevin Devine
Matt Pryor
The Kooks
Flogging Molly
Rise Against
The Wombats

And a few other openers that I don't really know.  Its going to be a good couple of months.
So you're going to disorientation 2008 the fnx concert? I was thinking about it but the Mars Volta are playing the next night and I want to see them.

I highly recommend that you go
see the Mars Volta! They rawk...

  • Hinrich sucks, Deng sucks, Bulls suck, I'm out.
Anybody go to the G. Love, Butler trio concert? It was very dope. Butler totally outplayed g. but it was a very good show at a very good venue.

Unfortunately haven’t seen any concerts this summer but when I went to Vegas I got talked into seeing Jersey Boys which is a play about the 4 seasons. I went in with low expectations but surprisingly it was pretty good, but I don’t know if that counts.

Here's something for all you Radioheads:

If you're into Radiohead,
you've probably already seen it.
But if you missed it, check it out.
It's really good stuff.

Thanks.  Really cool to see how they produce that sound.  Mesmerizing.  I love their new album.
Yup

I totally blanked on goign - G Love was my 1st concert way back when, always try to catch him when here...not surprising the Butler trio was awesome, I've seen them before and they put on a great show

I am...although I am not getting my hopes up that it will be that great.  Not really the right venue for bands like that.

By the way, has anyone heard anything about a free concert in the next few weeks?  I knew one of the radio stations (I think it was FNX) used to always have a free concert around the beginning of the school year, either at the Esplanade, or Government Center...but I haven't heard anything yet.

I'm going to see The Shins tonight in Seattle.  I think I might buy tickets to "Flight of the Conchords" show next week.  Should be a lot of fun concerts later this summer out here.

Im bummed there are no flogging molly shows besides warped tour, which is awful.

"Sea Legs" one of greatest songs ever.  How was the show?  Has anyone mentioned the free David Byrne concert in Brooklyn (outdoors)?
