I think if the Cs get Lue that House wont be back because the Cs have had Gabe Pruitt who is a better sg then pg and he bring a little more to the table then Eddie House. If the Cs can get Lue for small money, re-sign Cassell for the short money and they have Pruitt who will be more of a 2 then a 1 for short money it's a win/win for the Cs. Eddie House is gone. I knew he was gone back in the Atlanta series when he had his son wearing a Hawks Jersey and hanging out with the Hawks bench during games. well if thats not proof nothing is. you DO realize mike bibby is the kids uncle right?? that was probably the jersey he was wearing. i dont think(and most dont either) that sam will be back regardless. that experiment didnt work. i think the house issue is way overblown but if we do sign lue(who is a great friend of kg's) i guess it is what it is. id rather anthony johnson though if we had to replace house. Why does it seem that half the point guards in the league are great friends of KG (Lue, Cassell, Billups, Troy Hudson). Marbury and KG used to be super tight too, before Marbury got jealous. I think Lue's interest in the C's is probably greater than the C's interest in him. I liked the idea of adding Lue last year, so I'm fine with adding him this yr. I definitely prefer him over Cassell. but if it comes down to House or Lue, I'm going to go with House.

In South Florida for Zo's Summer Groove, Lue said before the charity game that he has narrowed his free-agent choices to the Heat, Celtics and Suns.Lue said the decision would be difficult because of his friendship with Boston's Kevin Garnett and Phoenix's Shaquille O'Neal, his former Lakers championship teammate.
Lue isn't coming, because he said that he'll sign with Phoenix.

Me, too. But who said House will sign here? Again, it all depends on Posey. If he takes the full MLE, House can only be signed for the minimum, and I think he has better offers elsewhere.
Tyronn Lue said before Sunday's Zo's Summer Groove that he is scheduled for a 5:30 a.m. Monday physical with the Heat, and could sign thereafter. The Heat, however, later said nothing is imminent, with no signing planned for Monday.Lue also said he would be receptive to working off the Heat's $1.9 million lower-level exception, which is all the Heat has available to offer from a salary-cap perspective. -- South Florida Sun-Sentinel
In South Florida for Zo's Summer Groove, Lue said before the charity game that he has narrowed his free-agent choices to the Heat, Celtics and Suns.
The Heat has only a $1.9 million mid-level salary-cap exception remaining to offer in free agency, with Lue saying he would be receptive to working off that figure for 2008-09.

Unless Eddie gets a very good offer, which I think is doubtful, that should be a competitive offer.
Tyronn Lue hoped to join the Celtics before signing a two-year, $5 million contract with Milwaukee yesterday.Lue, a 10-year veteran who was a backup point guard with Atlanta and Dallas last season, had phone conversations with Celtics general manager Danny Ainge and coach Doc Rivers recently. Lue said he would have joined the Celtics for $1.8 million annually, but the Celtics held firm on a one-year, $1.2 million (the veteran minimum) offer."I'm disappointed," Lue said. "We were trying to get it done there for so long. I don't know why an extra [$600,000] was a big deal. I would have taken less than I took with Milwaukee. But they didn't want to do it."
