I'm a fan of Lue. He's not afraid to take (and make) big shots, and he can run a team better than House and shoot the three slightly better than House (38.9% to 38.3%) over their careers. Lue's a slightly better defender, and he's surprisingly a better overall FG% shooter, 43.7 to 40.9%.
I'd say objectively that Lue is a slightly better player than House, but considering that House just put in a relatively successful season and made some big plays in the Finals, I don't care either way. If House is playing a lot of minutes with a SG than can penetrate and break defenses down with the dribble, like Tony Allen earlier in the year, he's way more effective. He's not at all good a setting the tables for others, but luckily Rajon Rondo should be stretching out his minutes next, year, deemphasizing the role of the backup PG.
