I'd like to see Tony Allen. We need an energy player to counter Ariza.

Ariza is beating us to loose balls. Luke Walton is making wide open shots. Everything is going wrong for us tonight.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

This is exactly like Game 3 of the 84 Series when we were on the road and the Lakers were literally running and dunking all over us.

Only, this time we don't have a Larry Bird to verbally embarrass his teammates to motivate them.  We have Ubuntu.

"We played like a bunch of sissies.  We've got some great players on this team, but we don't have the players with the heart sometimes that we need. And today, when you see Magic slapping high-fives and his guys throwing behind-the-back passes and shooting lay-ups on us all day long, it seems that someone would try to play stop on defense and, until we get our hearts where they belong, well, we're in trouble."

someone needs to run over at the lakers bench and clothesline kurt rambis...

Hahahaha, TP for you, my friend.  Anybody that manages to make me crack a smile in the middle of this nightmare deserves at least that.

Could these announcers be any more excited about the Lakers?  I am getting sick of it.
Exactly they are completely showing bias. When the C's got the big lead at home in game 2 it was definately different.

I like KG's aggressiveness in taking it to the rim. Two nice moves on drives, another nice turnaround out of the post, another drive that set up Leon that resulted in two FTs. Keep it up.

Celtics offense looks more organized now. Hard to be organized when none of your three best players are controlling the action.

Trevor Ariza, 6 points and 5 rebounds already.  That is all you need to know about the Celtics' effort tonight.

So, the Celtics vs. five random fans picked from the crowd.  Do the Celts keep it within 10?  :P

The Lakers have an open path to the hoop on literally every possession.  They're not moving their feet, and they're not rotating.  When we lose this game by 40, I don't want to hear any griping about the refs.

well, to be fair, this is 90% on the team, but how can you play interior defense when within 4 minutes two of your big men are in foul trouble?

a 6-0 foul run, 3 on perk and 2 on kg?

its tough to play defense when the games being called like its womens tennis inside.

but overall, agree it's on us.

but those first 6 minutes couldn't have screamed "this is the lakers night boys, don't drive to the hoop/ play tight defense, because you will get sat down." any louder.

that said, the team, so far, has done a embarrassment of a job keeping its composure. you have to play through home cooking advantage, not play into it.

also, on the fans question, is it ok for them to reach in/hack on defense and do they get touch fouls on the other end?

i kid, i kid....somewhat...

I agree 100% Roy but when Trevor Ariza is allowed to push Posey into the first row, get an offensive rebound and put it back in then grab another offensive rebound and step out of bounds and no calls come of it it can get disheartening for this team.

But if they don't play better, there's no sense complaining about the refs.

Thankfully this only counts as one game.  :-\

The goal needs to be getting the lead down to 10 before the half.

seriously.... the lakers are the 2nd worst team we've played this playoffs. I'm not saying this because I'm bitter right now. Its true. We have wide open shot after wide open shot and tons of layups and we miss them all. This team is either great or complete crap. We absolutely suck right now, and you can tell that we have no fight in us and that this game will never even get close. I hope I'm wrong....but its not likely that I am.

BTW, our BIGGEST problem that isn't totally obvious is that Rajon Rondo refuses to shoot. Kobe roams off him, making it impossible for anyone to do anything when Rondo is out there. Just shoot the [dang] ball Rajon. I don't care if you go 6 for 14, because there will be a stretch where you hit a couple, and then the have to guard you, and that opens it up for the rest of the team.

I'm going to break my tv if mike breen doesnt get punched in the mouth soon.

I can't believe all of the easy looks the Lakers have been getting so far. This is awful defense.
