Hm... I'd like some Central American beer!

BTW, you folks been over to http://beeradvocate.com?  If you love beer, it's a fantastic board.

I'd also like to add that I've been enjoying Berkshire Lost Sailor IPA in the growler and Stone Ruination IPA lately... both good, quality hoppers.

Go Celts!

1. Sam Light
2. Sam Summer
3. Beer Works Back Bay IPA
4. Magic Hat #9
5. Harpoon Summer
5. Magic Hat Single Chair Ale
6. Sam Winter
7. Sam Boston Lager
8. Sam Oktoberfest
9. Sam Boston Ale
10. Harpoon IPA

As you can see, I'm a big Sam drinker. I couldn't decide whether I like IPA more than Sam White, but I polished off a bottle of IPA so as of now, I like IPA more.

If you are ever in Boston or specifically Jamaica Plain, Sam Adams offers a great tour of their Brewery. It is one of their original brew houses, not their large scale production facility. They only ask for donations where I usually throw a five dollar bill. They give a great explanation of their process and how each recipe differs. The best part of course is the sampling at the end where they serve pitchers of 5 different kinds of brews. If your group at the table is small enough you will certainly get your fill.

As far as my top ten....Im still in college so you can imagine what my list looks like. I live in Boston so I'm lucky if I can afford a six pack of Natty Lite at the end of the week.

sorry, but "bud" doesnt count. the thread asked about beer, not worm sweat.

now then, my bestest and favorest beers are...

westmalle dubble (see my signature)
rochforte 10
rochforte 8
westmalle tripel
samuel smith winter ale
samuel smith imperial stout
samuel smith oatmeal stout
guiness
chimay blue

and they should all be consumed at room temperature. yum!
Right there with you on the Belgian Ales.  Love the Dubbles and the Quads.  Pricey but worth it.  For a very good and less expensive take on the Belgians, Ommegang's Three Philosophers is excellent and a great buy.
