So if you're on a deserted island and you can only have access to an unlimited supply of your top ten beers and health concerns don't exist list your top ten draft picks

1 Utenos
2 Guiness
3 Svyturys
4 Kalnapilis
5 Killians
6 Sam Adams (hopefully I get access to the entire line by just saying Sam Adams)
7 Becks
8 Labat Blue
9 Blue Moon
10 Yuengling

Hopefully I also get unlimited access to pizza, wings, fries, moz stix, Chinese, and TV

I used to never have a beer I didn't like, except Corona, but lately I've had a lot of beers I didn't really like, which has me nervous.

this is boarder line obscene, top ten beers to me is in many ways equal to top ten models, top ten sports plays, Top ten CD's and top ten ice cream flavors...........oh, goosebumps.

Not counting micro brews
Sam Adams,
Adnams (UK)
Sierra Nevada
Ipswich
Tremont
Murphy's Stout
Miller Lite
Harpoon IPA

Don't need anymore than this..........

I'm not a light beer drinker but was pleasantly surprised with Bud Light Lime.  Nowhere near my Top 10, but it did help lead the Celtics to an outstanding Game 3 effort - along with Chips & Dustin Pedroia Salsa (I kid you not - it was actually kinda good).

My Top 10 would have to include:

Guiness
Harp
Red Hook
Sam Adams (most all of the varieties - the new Irish Red was decent)
Harpoon IPA
Old Speckled Hen
Killians
Bass
and sometimes there's just nothing better than a really cold:

Yup

I don't really get how anyone enjoys Guiness. I find it to be the milkshake of beers, but I suppose that's why they invented the phrase "to each his own".

Top 10 is too much, my fav 4 are:

1. Hoegarden (Belgium) (but when i'm in the US i get Blue Moon)
2. Leffe (Belgium)
3. Sapporo (Japan)
4. Keith's (Canada)

Sam Adams
Sam Adams Light - easily the best lite beer in my opinion
Molson Ale - favorite Canadian
Guiness
St. Paulie's Girl
Heineken - but only the European higher alcohol content one. Heineken in America just doesn't do it for me.
Heffenreffer Private Stock - still wax nostalgic for the puzzles under the caps and my favorite 40oz
And there's two or three I've had at the Boston Beer Works that are great but I can't remember the names. For those that do not know it is their own brew.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
1. Pete's Wicked Ale Rally Cap
2/3. Swee****er Blue/Hummer
4. Stroh's/Stroh's Light
5. Iron City Light
6. Yazoo Hefeweizen
7. Yeungling
8. Abita Turbodog/Purple Haze
9. Paulaner
10. Laser
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Oh man Nick the 40 oz. Heffer's packed a wallop! And yes, the puzzles were amusing.

and depending on how you looked at it -- they either got easier to solve or at least became more interesting as the beers went down.

Miller Lite is my waxing nostalgic  -- just couldn't pull the trigger for Old Milwaukee Light.  Also agree with a few of the Boston Beer Works (especially the Red) but didn't include them due to the inability to get them at the packy.

I remember my Dad collecting the caps from Ballentine Ale, same idea witht he puzzles (not sure if its the same brewer) he framed a huge collection, pretty cool stuff - around Fathers day or his bday, I bring him a six pack and we enjoy a few together and still do the puzzles

I been to their brewery in Dublin. It's sweet. Only one free beer but it's in this awesome observation tower. It's packed as all heck though

I agree. There should be a thread that's like top cheap beers or something, but they're all pretty much the same. It'd be like

Coors
Bud
Miller
Michelob
Coors Lite
Bud Lite
Miller Lite
Michelobe Lite
