8. Whatever is on cask at a bar with cask conditioned beers

YES!

There's a pub down in Pittsfield that always keeps something on cask.  Gets served at cellar temps (50°), lighter carbonation....   wow!  So smooth and silky, none of the flavor gets lost at all.  They do a nice American IPA, it really brings out the freshness of the hops.  SO drinkable...  Pittsfield Brew Works, anyone out in the area, I'll buy you a pint.

If I lived closer than Berkeley CA I would take you up on the offer!
Glad to find another fan of the cask conditioned beers.  It is great stuff.
Celtics fan for life.

TP for bringing back fond memories of enjoying ceviche and Tecate while camping on the beach in Baja.  Probably the best ceviche I ever had was made by one of the local fisherman down there.
In exchange for helping tow my buddies truck out of the sand we helped him collect these ginormous muscles from the rocks in front of his place; he came back at sundown and shared his homemade ceviche with us, complete with the side bottle of muscle juice and hot sauce for 'shooters'.  We lit a nice dry agave and knocked down many a red can that night!

anyone try the 3 "new" Sam Adams beers with ridiculously high alcohol content?  I've had 2 of the 3 types, (haven't had the imperial white yet) and am a pretty big fan of both, but can't have more than 1, or the next day isn't fun

Being in So Cal, I tend to go for the paler stuff to cope with the heat (sprinkle some darker stuff to stay connected to my new england roots):

1. Sapporo
2. Stella
3. Bohemia
4. Hefewiesen (tap only any brand)
5. Hoegarden
6. Guiness
7. Bass
8. Harp
9. Corona
10. Sierra Nevada Pale

I get to go to England every year for work, and the highlight of my trip is always getting to enjoy all of the Cask Ales they have on tap at every Pub.

People always joke about Brits liking warm beer, but they simply don't understand.  There is nothing as good as a nice, smooth, Cask Ale, that is just the right temperature.  It is never actually warm, it just isn't rediculously cold, because it shouldn't be.

I have never seen Cask Ales in Boston though.  Does anyone know any bars that have that on tap?

I'm sure I will receive a bashing for this, but I have horrible taste in beer.  My fiance' even drinks real beer, but I prefer the stuff I drank in college.

Bud Light
Bud Heavy
Miller Light
Coors Light
and
Smithwicks (OK this is the only "real" beer I drink)

was at Beerworks last night before the Pogues concert - they had a cask conditioned ale, called Buckeye... not all that good though, actually a bit watery which surprised me

The Tap Brewing Company in downtown Haverhill sometimes/usually has a cask ale.

The burger is pretty good as is the calimari. Neat little place with a deck overlooking the river. You can get a six-pack or a growler to go, too.

Top 10 off the top of my head:

New England division:
Opa-Opa IPA
Z Street IPA
Leatherlips IPA

San Diego division:
Stone IPA
Ballast Point Big Eye IPA
Port Brewing Company Wipeout IPA
Arrogant Edited for profanity.  Please do not do it again.

Miscellaneous division:
Great Divide Titan IPA
Hop Devil
Hop Wallop

(Yes, I like IPA's.)
