  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
OK, here's my current faves (no partic'lar order):

Southern Tier IPA
Hoegaarden
Hopdevil IPA
Haverhill Brewing Co. Leatherlips IPA (Hops + Haverhill = Awesome!)
Dogfish Head 120 Minute
Smuttynose IPA
Stella Artois
UFO Hefeweizen
Sam Adams
Harpoon IPA

Lots of IPA's I know... I go cuckoo for lots o' hops.

The Southern Tier IPA, is called Unearthly IPA right? If that is the case I could not agree more.
I also like Dark Lord, Ham on Rye (yes it's a beer) and the Sam Adams imperial stout
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Yeah Evantime34, it's called Unearthly. Good stuff, too...

What's Ham on Rye like?

Just a question: what's your favorite Irish red ale (besides Smithwick's or Murphy's, I'd like something from an American brewery)?

Another hophead checkin' in here:

Stone IPA
Avery IPA
Hoptimus Prime
Z Street IPA
Port Brewing Wipeout IPA
Smuttynose IPA
Arrogant Edited for profanity.  Please do not do it again.
Ruination IPA
Leatherlips IPA
Flying Dog IPA

In related news, I'm headed out to OC in August and will be hitting the Pizza Port outlet in San Clemente. The main place in Carlsbad is out of this world. 15 or 20 craft brews on tap and half-decent pizzas. Next-door they have a retail store where you can mix-and-match six-packs for $9.99. Good pizza and great beer all in close vicinity. If you like the sound of that and you're going to be in SoCal you owe it to yourself to check it out.

Not a hophead, prefer more Belgian types, but dig the hops from time to time:

1. Hennepin Saison Ale
2. Corsendonk Pale
3. Lion Stout
4. Victory 12
5. Breckenridge 471 Double IPA
6. Three Philosophers
7. Dogfish Head Black and Blue (almost a lambic, but technically a beer, and very good)
8. Young's Double Chocolate Stout
9. Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA
10. Unibroue Chambly Noire

I have never been disappointed by any of the offerings from these breweries:

Victory
Brooklyn Beer Co.
Magic Hat

I don't remember who brews it, but there is an IPA named "Unearthly" that is fantastic, and as a bonus is something like 12% alcohol.

Of the major domestic brews, I find Michelob the most palatable. Of macro imports, I guess I would go with Becks or Grolsch.

The Victory beers are by far my favorite though. If like me you don't have air conditioning in this sweltering summer, their white ale named Whirlwind is incredibly refreshing.
