Wish I hadn?t looked but JB has 20 points with 5 minutes left in the half.  8-11, 3-5 from three.

Sixers look scary. Only thing that could derail them really is significant injuries, but chemistry doesn't seem to be a huge issue for them these days which was something people wondered if they would gel and fit together

Jaylen had a nice game the other day.

25pts on 9-15 FGA 3-4 FTA
5ast vs 0 turnovers
11reb and 1stl

Super efficient night.

Honestly, if the 76ers can stay reasonably healthy, a 76ers - Spurs finals would not surprise me.

Philly does match-up well with San Antonio. The biggest question for me would be how Embiid guards Wemby. I do not think Embiid has enough movement left to keep up with Wemby, especially outside the paint.

I was wondering what the average TS% was in this early part of the season. B-Ref has it at 57.2%. There are 19 teams at 57% or higher.

So 11 lower than that. SAC at 56%. TOR 55.7%. PHI 55.6%. ATL 55.2%. BKN 54.9%. That leaves 6 teams. The next 5 are in a group here near 54%. Utah 54%. Then NYK and OKC at 53.8%. MIL 53.7%. CHI 53.4%.

Then there is a huge drop off. Charlotte are in last place at only 51.5% TS. They are so far behind everyone else. Now Knueppel will help with that when he returns. But what a gap.

Yeah I feel like the likely matchup is Spurs-Sixers assuming health mostly

Victor Wembanyama played 17 minutes in the first half of the Spurs/Mavericks game. His stat line: 29pts/15rebs/5blks/2ast/2stls. Absolutely ridiculous.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Utah now have 1 win 6 losses. I thought they would be challenging for .500 this season.

Their lineup looks poor since Jaren Jackson Jr got injured. Darryn Peterson hasn't delivered so far. Ace Bailey has never delivered. So they are getting nothing out of their 2 starting wings. Jaxson Hayes is starting at center while Nurkic is injured but even Nurkic being there instead doesn't change the team that much.

Bench isn't showing much. It is still a two man team with Keyonte George and Lauri Markkanen like it was last season when they won only 22 games and lost 60 games. And Markkanen has started badly as well.

Disappointing. Looks like another long season for Utah.
I dont think Keyonte George is all that good either honestly. If you look at box scores their young talent is supposedly impressive but I dont see it with nearly any of their players.

Peterson is by far their most promising player, and I do think he'll pan out. But I dont think Ainge has as much of a wealth of talent there as some people think.

Keyonte George stat line tonight: 39pts/9ast/4stls/2rebs/1blk. 14-26 from the field.

Darryn Peterson stat line tonight: 7pts/7ast/2rebs. 2-8 from the field.

Miami is being manhandled by the Clippers. Wow. Is Giannis a bad fit? Or is Spo not using him correctly?

Keyonte George. He is a sure thing. That?s why the Jazz just paid him. We don?t know what D. Peterson will be.

Wemby finished the game playing 34 mins. His stat line: 54pts/24rebs/8blks. Wow
