I still think this is the highest value he'll have and we should trade him. It could come crashing down next year, then we'll be forced to trade him. Better to get out in front of this now.
I'd love Amen Thompson, but a report just came out that HOU is listening to offers on everyone except Thompson, so I don't think he'll be on the table. Not sure I'd do it for Sengun and Smith Jr, but I'd consider it.
Sharpe, Grant, and MIL's picks is interesting. I know Sharpe and Grant aren't Jaylen, but MIL is looking to be horrible for at least the next 5 years. Unfortunately, horrible means worse odds than just mediocre, so this probably doesn't work for us the way it would have in years past.
If we could get Murphy, pieces, and multiple future picks, I'd be all over it. Murphy covers most of what Jaylen does, is younger, and I love the idea of having picks from the Pelicans.
Chicago and Atlanta don't really have anything that interests me, unless Jalen Johnson is on the table. And I definitely don't feel like he is.
