Is Sam Cassell ready to be head coach?

Id be fine with a rebuild. It wont happen but id be fine with it. It seems like the Jays era is over without much flexibility to improve the roster around them.

They need to reload, not rebuild.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

If not Giannis, I would consider trading White + a future protected pick for Durant if Houston shops him. KD obviously has his risks, but he has a good relationship with Tatum and you're ideally acquiring him to be that closer on offense in the 4th who doesn't rely on the 3, and just a guy who can function as a nice 3rd option that can give you a consistent 18-22 PPG.

They'd still need to add a center but maybe you can find that guy in another trade.

JB would drive KD up the wall with the hero ball and turnovers.

Then it's time KD steal it back from JB and tell him that KD is in charge now

It's going to change-C's have young players that will be better now that they have a year of experience.

If that?s the only change, we are in big trouble.

Young players Game 7:
Luka Garza: 8 minutes, 0 points
RHJ: 4 minutes, 0 points
Scheierman: 22 mins, 0 points
Walsh: 4 mins, 0 points
Hugo: 12 mins, 0 points

Young players right? Sounds like a recipe for disaster moving forward.

I would not be surprised if one of Brown/White is traded.

I also would not be surprised if they run it back one more year to officially ?reset? and then spend big for a couple years.

Feels like now is a decent time to make a move, though.
