NBA Season 2026-27

Giannis needs help

I was iffy about it working in Miami and so far it's looking like it. Their defense is bad and they don't have enough shooting around Giannis/Bam either. Klay is washed too and doesn't offer much defensively on top of it. About to be 2 straight games they give up 130+ and lose by 20+ probably

What?s up with Miami though? Giannis and Bam are a bad fit? Might be a long season for them. It would be funny if Giannis doesn?t sign that extension with the Heat.

Miami lost their two best shooters in Herro and Norman Powell. They gutted the team to get Giannis.

Yup. Sideways move.

And they gave up young talent and picks. They were already lacking in both. Now they have even less. This trade will get even worse for them in time.

It will be tough to recover from.

Would be hilarious if we could trade for Giannis using PG + Baylor + 2 2nd rounders

Heat now down 20 to the Hornets who lost by 47 to ATL last night and are without Kon + White.

They lost yet again. Giannis with a miserable game and 6 fouls. Could he be second guessing his decision to join Miami now?

Giannis is getting what he deserves. He cared more about being in Miami than he did winning.

I got no sympathy for him, he made his choice

I will say though, Butler/Herro among others seemed to be irked that Bam seemingly got special treatment and he got a quick extension while those guys didn't and ultimately Butler in particular demanded out. Meanwhile Bam so far is averaging around 13/7 this season and frankly, has not improved his game or raised his ceiling much in the past 3-4 seasons.

Giannis had a bad game today but Bam has been pretty bad to start this season and that pairing is gonna have a tough time working out especially since they can't space the floor, nor does the team have enough shooting around them to compensate for that.

It is 2-3 games into the season and load management is already happening. This is ridiculous.

Steph Curry did not play tonight. Podz did not play tonight. Both load management. They said Draymond had a real injury.

Golden State's starting lineup was the rookie Lendeborg, the bench player Gui Santos, and 3 third stringers.

Dallas used load management with Kyrie. Cooper Flagg is injured. We are playing San Antonio. Probably lose anyway. Let's rest Kyrie.

Could Giannis come to Boston this summer? You know, maybe he gets fed up with the "Heat culture" aka losing culture, and he's had enough and wants to join a real squad like Boston.
