Should win this challenge.  Good play by Boucher.

We're gonna love Boucher. I always thought he was underrated, and was behind Poeltl and Barnes in Toronto. With an opportunity he can thrive. He averaged 10/5 last year on 17 minutes a game and is capable of nailing some spot up open 3s
It's a great sign that he was so popular the last place he played.

Garza needs to be a better rebounder.  I know he's short-armed and unathletic but box out and own your area at least.  He fumbles boards that hit him in the hands.

Good to see Simons wake up a little here.

Garza reminds me of a slightly more agile Enes Kanter

I can see why they were intrigued by Hugo. I think he's capable of getting rotation minutes right away but he may be better served by playing a season in the G League. He looks like he needs to figure out how to adapt his game to the NBA.

Queta is just not a disciplined basketball player.

I am surprised how bad he looks tonight, turnovers, fouls, illegal screens

Garza and Boucher have looked good. Queta and Tillman... meh. We need at least one of those guys to be decent. Frontcourt is in shambles as is and lacks talent.

I'm curious who will be the 3rd choice at running the point - not necessarily a point guard - as Tatum functions in that role a lot of the time. When White and Pritchard aren't on the court, their half court offense really struggles.

As an example, whenever Scheirman has been in that role he's played really, really poorly. I'd say he's flunked the exam so far.

Been disappointed by Queta and Scheierman. It's only 1-2 games of preseason but so far neither guy looks like they've improved any part of their game in certain areas...

Scheierman was this level of bad in the Summer League.

I'm a bit happier with Scheierman's performance than the board tonight, I suppose.  Actively attempting to involve teammates.  Less dumb turnovers, particularly no showboating behind-the-head crap.  Still can't shoot but that will come around imo.  I think the fact that he's having to pretend to be a focal point is pushing him into a more difficult diet of shots than he can realistically handle.

I do agree that he's not any sort of lead guard, however.  He's a secondary guy who can make the next pass and occasionally get hot.  Probably not an every-night guy, especially if Minott's first few showings are who he actually is as a player.  If this version of Minott is real, I want him out there 25-30 minutes a night and that probably pushes Baylor to the bench most nights.

EDIT:  I want to note that I typed this up before he imploded, lol.

Lots of non-NBA talent wearing green on the floor right now.
