I like Sabonis.  I tried everything I could think of for a 3-way with SAC and HOU where White goes HOU, Simons (and young players from HOU) to SAC, and Sabonis to BOS.  But I could not make it work.  But that is the type of deal I would love to see.

JD is getting a few mins for Houston.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

The schedule is weird. We have played Orlando and Philly several times already. Meanwhile, Cleveland have completed their season series with Toronto. 3 games. Raptors swept the season series 3-0. We are a month into the season and the season series with a team from your own conference is already over?

Opening night - Oct 21
CLE TOR - Nov 24 3 game season series completed

We coulda used him this year. Another playmaker would be helpful. Could also use his defense at the PG position.

It is weird though we get weird things in the NFL also. I mean the Ravens have played the Browns twice already but haven't yet played either Pittsburgh or Cincinnati. They play the Bengals on Thanksgiving, then the Steelers, then the Bengals again in 3 straight weeks before 2 non-division games and then closing with the Steelers.  They played the Browns in week 2 and week 11 (their 10th game).  So the Ravens only played 1 division opponent in their first 9 games. While that 2nd Ravens game was the 4th division game for the Browns and from that week 11 game they don't play another division game until week 17 and 18.

Controlling ratings and having to deal with flights with certain places or region probably. They probably didn't see Toronto as good (ironic) so they want to end this series quick. Or maybe flying to or from the state of Ohio or some parts of that region has gotten problematic. Same concept applies for some of the East teams that Boston has faced? Who knows tho.

As big of a rivalry as Pittsburgh/Baltimore is, I'm surprised these two are literally meeting the last 5 weeks of the season as well.

The Delta Center, (home of the Utah Jazz), has passed a new rule: fans are no longer allowed to bring signs to games.

What a joke.

Paul George, Joel Embiid, VJ Edgecombe, Adem Bona, Kelly Oubre Jr.  all out for PHI tonight vs. ORL.  Feels a little tank'ish.

No chance, the Thunder own the 76ers draft pick.

Lakers signed Drew Timme to a two way contract. Interesting signing. He looked great in SL. Pure shooter. Big man shooter. I was surprised the Nets didn't give him more of a chance before waiving him in training camp. Also surprised he didn't have more offers after that. Good opportunity risk for LAL.

Lakers waived Christian Koloko to make room for Timme.

Also, if Phili was flirting was thinking about tanking they probably wouldn't be playing Maxey an average of 40 minutes a night.

Isn't this a tourney game?  Seems like a weird game to intentionally keep players out.  My guess they all really just need the extra rest to heal.

That is a disheartening loss for Minnesota against OKC. OKC now 18-1. MIN drop to 10-8.

Disheartening because it was a repetition of their problems in the playoffs against OKC last year.

* Randle continued to struggle against OKC's trapping defense / aggressive guards. Randle has been superb this season. Last night only 10pts on 2-13 FG.
* MIN have their big backcourt with DiVincenzo and Ant. No PG. DiVincenzo only 11pts. Conley 2pts in 13min off bench. Jaylen Clark scorless in 7min. So minimal contributions from any of the guards around Ant.
* MIN 14 turnovers to OKC's 7 turnovers
* SGA cooked them again. 40pts on 12-19 FG and 15-17 FTA. 6 ast and 3stl against only 1 turnover.
* No J-Dub for OKC. So they will get stronger. MIN still couldn't win.
* Scoreline flatters MIN due to 7-7 FG of Terrence Shannon off the bench. Their main guys didn't get it done except for Ant. Randle 10pts. DiVincenzo 11pts. J McDaniels 10pts. Naz was okay at 12pts in 24min on 4-11 FGA. Ant 31pts 8rb 5ast.
