Bruh Knicks fans are really parading the streets of NY and celebrating... a 2nd round victory?

That is pathetic. Maybe they will hang a banner for making the ECF.
It is their 1st time to make the ECF in 25 years.  They have every reason to celebrate.

If they want to celebrate that hard for winning the second round by all means go for it, I just think it?s pathetic. I don?t remember Boston going crazy in 02 when the Celtics made the ECF after not being there since 88. It?s just a little over the top for not winning anything yet. They get beat by the Pacers then it?s not even going to matter.

I guess you?re misremembering because the Celtics fans and team went feral over that 02 run

Really? I don?t remember thousands in the streets lined up celebrating beating Detroit. I want to game 5 for the Philly series and went to one game against the Pistons. Yea we were excited but not celebrating like we won something. You remember different?

The New York fans took it a bit overboard for sure but there?s typically fans on the street celebrating every win in every arena across the country all season long. Again the Knicks fans were a little extra and probably doing more then us in 2002?but we were really pumped about that 2002 team, honestly other then 2007 might be the loudest our fan base has been since the bird era

I mean, be happy and celebrate. But I just find it wild that multiple blocks and main streets all around NYC were just filled most of the night with people celebrating, climbing poles, even some cars/property damaged, etc. For a 2nd round victory. Not even to advance to the Finals officially or win it all.

When the C's celebrate 2nd round or even ECF wins, it's usually just people right outside TD Garden and the streets right next to it. Not all of downtown or multiple blocks lol. And they disperse and go home just 1-2 hours later.

But idk, 25 years since the last ECF. I guess they can go wild. How will it look if they actually win it all
