Realistically we weren't gonna make a deep run anyways with Porzingis basically useless out there and Tatum out. Still no excuse to go down 3-1 to this Knicks team, but it clearly wasn't meant to be this year. Lot of stuff went right last year. Not this year. A shame.

That in no way shape or form excuses blowing back to back 20 point leads at home to an inferior team. That?s not injuries not luck or any other excuse .

Did you actually read what I said?? Read it again if not.

Yes. Your premise is wrong. We had plenty enough to get by this team. Stop letting this coach and team off the hook.

I said there's no excuse to be down 3-1 to this team, and that this year just wasn't meant to be. We would get smoked in the next round anyways with KP + Tatum out. Lot of stuff went right last year, not this year. That's facts.

No it?s not. The ?it just not meant to be? is a cop out. Blowing those two 20 point leads was not ?it wasn?t meant to be?. It was a systematic failure by first and foremost this idiot coach and his system then the players. A smarter plan would have had a 2-0 series lead. Gimmie a break

I have a lot of NY friends, from college and even just in general. So yeah, not having fun lol. But I am happy for some of them who are actually emotional, they really needed it after 25 years

But anyways. Pacers in 5.

Yeah it is sports, NY has been bad for a really long time.   Hard to be mad at their fans.  They are going to have their celebration.  Good for them.  Not sure they are even going to make the finals, much less win a title this year.

Not sure what I even said was wrong? I said there's no excuse for them to go down 3-1. But lets be real, with Porzingis basically a pumpkin out there and then Tatum getting the achilles, did we actually expect to make the Finals? Did everything go right for us this postseason run like last year? We have ourselves to blame for losing this series but idk if a Finals run was possible given the circumstances. Sorry, it is what it is. Kornet wasn't gonna go beast mode for a whole ECF/Finals.

Anyways, go Pacers. And go everyone not named the Knicks the rest of the way.

At least the Lakers are out.

his point was there was no excuse to lose this series. we shoulda been up 3-1. we coulda won without tatum had we a real coach and philosophy.

after tatum being hurt nobody expected to win  repeat anyway.

the whole coaching system is a ABJECT FAILURE.

Yeah, I also said no excuse to lose the series. But overall I don't think we would have won it all. And then Tatum went down with injury. Only Porzingis was hurt last postseason but everyone else thankfully stayed healthy. This year we were more banged up and KP was a pumpkin. It is what it is. Not meant to be. Still should have made the ECF, I agree.

Bruh Knicks fans are really parading the streets of NY and celebrating... a 2nd round victory?

That is pathetic. Maybe they will hang a banner for making the ECF.

Man how fast things can change in 2 weeks. Starting this series against a team the Celtics were clearly better than and we all expected a finals appearance. To going to blowing huge leads, Porzingis sickness comes back, Tatum injury and now more than likely not contending for a tile next year.

Literally went from possibly going back to back to now the window being shut with these players as this team is constructed.

Brad has a lot of work ahead of him. He?s a [dang] good GM so I have faith in him to get a team around Tatum in 2 years.

i was bashed the other day for saying we TECHNICALLy could be 3 peating or even a 4 peat. ok whatever. but there is ZERO DOUBT we should have more finals appearances

2018 we blew it.  2022 we made it. 2023 we shoulda made it plus this year. that is 5 finals appearances. id like to think we get 2 titles out those 5. the underachieving is disgusting. and yes im done with this coach for good until he is summarily fired.
