It is amazing the Celtics cannot defend RJ Barrett. They just never have been. The guy is slow and clunky but boston gets torched by him every game they play.

Like, KP - what are you doing there defensively?? You just lost track of Poeltl and cost us two points.

Clearly we're not engaged, and it's becoming very worrisome that we can't figure out a way to get ourselves more engaged and into these games.

The Celtics need a better understanding of what makes a good 2 for 1. Tatum was trying to push it ahead likely to get the 2 for 1, but if you rebound the ball with 35.5 pushing for a shot is a bad idea. You needs to shoot it with 33+ seconds left to get enough time on the back end, if you need to rush the first shot that quickly a 2 for 1 becomes dumb.

So many disappointing plays. So many missed opportunities. I guess all they can do is keep grinding it out.

Lately  I've been watching the Cs just to see PP play. Other players are just disappointing, they play like they don't care.

Tell Joe that.  He just wants to look at a piece of paper and say that we won the margins.  More shot attempts for the game.  Even if it's clear the shots we generate on some of the 2 for 1s are just awful possessions.

Among other issues, I don't think it's a good look that Tatum gets called out by Brandon Jennings and truth be told, JT's been pretty mediocre since then too. So far today, just 7 points on 2-9 shooting against a 9-31 team. I know his recent stats look good (not terrible) but even the Pels game, he needed 30 shots to hit 38 points.

See keev, what you are suggesting would require a high basketball IQ and an ability to make consistent smart decisions with the ball, neither of which our two all-stars have ever demonstrated in abundance. Dumb players & dumb coach.

I?d say 70% of the league and most non Celtics fans feel this way about Tatum, he?s simply not respected and tbh he is kinda soft?still a first team all nba player but yeah

Tatum lets no calls or him missing shots get in his head. Then he tries to get over aggressive and compounds the problem.
