Meanwhile Cavs are up 13 on the Pacers. Them and OKC just feel like teams of destiny and neither is slowing down. Very locked in. Reminds me of the 2024 C's. We're not that right now  :(

Cavs are the top seed in the east. That race is over. Boston at best will the 2 seed but most likely the 3 seed.

Yeah I know I'm not talking about that, just observing the mere fact that OKC and CLE aren't slowing down. Back to backs, quality opponents, injuries to their own guys. Doesn't matter, they give it 110% every game and every possession.

Same as the 2024 C's.

Need to see it in the playoffs from those 2 teams I guess

3PA watch. 8-27 for 29.6%. Joe is back with shooting 50 3PA but the shooters fail him.

JB looks so unfocused most games. He just is a dumb player for stretches.

Brown has been the best player on the floor for the Celtics today, bit of a strange time to make this comment.

JB was good for a stretch with the 2s and then when the starters came in he had 2 bad turnovers and then lost another one on the way to the hoop.

Yes, he has two turnovers all game. Guys occasionally turn it over. It happens. It doesn't make him a dumb player. Its what the other team is trying to do 100% of the time.

Unless this team makes a ton of 3s...they don't win. When the 3s don't drop, they get lazy and it affects their defense. And they don't ever pivot to playing inside when this happens.

Only 11 assists of 22 fgs thus far. This is another symptom - or cause? - of our poorer play recently, which is seemingly much less passing and playing together and more individual ball.

Agree. Pels are focusing on JB because everyone else is in a slump. This is not rocket science.

I don't see what they are doing as flukey

All the C's can really do is secure the 2 seed, stay healthy and just hope for the best I guess. And maybe they somehow get red hot from April-June from 3 lol

Awesome start. Every player just taking lazy heat checks from 3 and its all bricks

Just wasted 4 straight stops and possessions.

I'd really like to know how many "potential assists" Tatum has every night that are not actually counted as assists due to guys missing open shots. He just got KP and Jrue two wide open threes on two of the last three possessions, and they bricked them both.

Feels like a running theme during this slump - lots of missed opportunities due to the shooting slump, leading to it being much easier to load up on JT.

I like Tatum shooting the spot up 3PA. White should do the same too.

Man Brown is just not playing good basketball. Good for stretches and then awful.

Wow - awful, awful transition defense. The man with the ball just outran four Celtics defenders to dunk the ball with the foul. Inexcusable transition defense and just a lack of focus and energy from the team.

Tatum takes that contested 3 with Zinger wide open...
