Joe's switching of the Jays' substitution pattern I think hurts us in these kinds of games, especially lately. Traditionally, Tatum has always been the one to come up midway through the first/third quarters and play the entire or most of the second and fourth quarters, which actually worked will with both Tatum's overall game that started slow and got better as the game went on, as well as Brown's game that generally started off strong in the first quarter.

It makes no sense to me why we're having our best player only play half of the fourth quarter when he's needed most, which is a big reason we've been so awful in fourth quarters lately.

Our defense is just bad.  And it's been bad.  Massively underperforming on defense for no good reason.

Joe just does the same thing every game.

I am sorry, but Luke Kornet is simply not an NBA-level basketball player. Bad hands, terrible defender, cannot rebound, very slow.

WHERE IS QUETA?

Somehow the Celtics have managed to be terrible at defending the rim despite playing double bigs.

I love Horford but he's really fallen off as a rim protector.

The logic behind the JT and JB rotations is one guy can step up while the other sits. Well it feels like when Tatum sits, Jaylen can't do much to help the team and it hurts us. Getting saved a little by PP here but it's not ideal

Why in the world did Joe challenge that there? What the heck was he even challenging?

And here is where they Celtics get blown off the floor. Terrible 4th quarter team.

My God, how many shots have we missed right at the rim tonight? KP, Luke, JB have all missed several at the rim apiece.
