If you blurred the faces and bodies of our players and compared this team to last year's team just by how they play and conduct themselves out on the court, do you think that most people would recognize this as the same exact team as last year?

I don't think it's a stretch to say that most wouldn't think these were the same teams. Just a completely different feel, vibe, and presence from this team this year. Honestly, it feels much more akin to the 2023 team than the 2024 team.

Defense sucks. Cs standing around. Not getting back.

Jaylen dunk leads to a wide open three on the other end. It seems like the defense is just waiting for the Pels to miss from three. Our three point defense has been a major problem. That?s just effort right?

So far, 1-7 from 3 in the 2nd half as well. And the thing is, like 4 of these have actually been open looks. Crazy

Jrue's passing has been the difference this quarter.  But we're still struggling.

All the talk about 3s and offense is great but the defense is the reason this team is slumping. They just do not defend with any force possession by possession.

We're seeing more of Tatum's shooting 1-8,  2-9, 1-6, etc, nowadays. I thought he learned.

Another possession of the second big being taken advantage of out on the perimeter leading to a three.

Like, almost every possession when we play double big is one of the bigs getting targeted out on the perimeter starting the action, and they either score/get an open shot directly on the big or they get the defense in rotations which then leads to a score or open shot.

I simply don't see what Joe sees in the double big lineups of two immobile bigs that can't guard out on the perimeter - no matter whether that's a combination of KP, Al, Kornet, or Queta. We badly need another bench wing/swing.
