Wolves need to wake up soon or it's 2-0 OKC

Wolves are getting zero calls.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I wish teams forced the fans to wear the shirts. Seriously, what an amazing playoff crowd OKC has. Utah and Sacramento are also insane when they are in the playoffs and they wear all the shirts.

My sister and I wore the shirts in Game 5 of last year's Finals but legit no one else did so we took them off later on too lol.

Again with the gimmicky away jerseys on home floor. Home jerseys on away floor. I understand it as a gimmick on an occassional regular season game but why the heck are they doing this in the playoffs? Especially in the Western Conference Finals?

I saw a lot of Minny fans on their SBNation site, on the game thread for GM 1, saying they thought SGA had his big 2nd half because Rudy Gobert did not play enough. That Rudy helped keep him in check as a backline defender in the 1st half. They also thought he did a very good job on Chet who also had some big plays when Rudy was out.

Other comments mentioned that their offensive spacing was poor with Rudy in the game. A reply to that was their defense was really bad when Rudy was out of the game. It was trade-off. One for the other. They were not making gains offensively without Rudy because the defensive drop-off was so large without Rudy.

They also pointed out that almost all of OKC's gains in that game came when Rudy was on the bench. That Minny played them near even when Rudy was in the game.

This game lacks urgency & intensity.

Both teams look happy to trade baskets and keep close. Neither trying hard enough to take control of the game. Happy to just keep it close and decide it late.

Risky strategy.

They need to be more aggressive. In all facets of the game. Trying to find any way possible to create an advantage and build dominance over the other team. They are not doing that.

Just steady play .... keeping it close.

Minny shooting 39% from the field. Randle is having an awful game. Yeesh.

Jaden McDaniels with 15pts on 6-12 FGA / 3-6 3PTA is keeping them in this game.

Randle a no-show (6pts). Naz a no-show (5pts). DD 8pts.

Jaden McDaniels the only guy in double digits other than Ant. Ant has had nobody else to rely on thus far.

Conley 3pts. Gobert 3pts. NAW 6pts.

Defensive role players = Jaden, Conley, Gobert, NAW
Offensive role players = Naz, DiVincenzo
Stars = Randle, Ant

The surprise offensive game by Jaden keeping them in it.

Both teams complaining to the officials on every dead ball. Not just the stars like SGA or Ant. All the role players are doing it to. Must be annoying as heck for the refs.

They all want to blame their own performances on the referees.

That was amazing defense by Dort to block off the baseline drive & pass by DiVincenzo. Turnover.

It was 63-59 OKC lead at 7:43 left in Q3

It is now 82-67 OKC lead with 2:25 left in Q3.

So a 19-4 run in last 5 minutes or so.

Minnesota are now falling apart. Cannot score. Most of those OKC baskets were scored in transition / early offense after Minny failed to score on the other end. Defense leading to offense for OKC. Bad offense leading to bad defense for Minnesota.

Naz Reid had two trips to the FT line and made 2/4 FTs in the last 6 minutes. Other than that, all points scored by Minnesota in the last 6 minutes were scored by Ant. Only 6pts for Ant.

No points for DD in 2nd half. None for NAW. Naz only had those 2 FTs. Randle had 4pts. Gobert a dunk and a FT. Jaden McDaniels had a layup and midranger. Ant had another bucket to give him 8pts for the quarter. 21pts for Minnesota in Q3.

Randle, Naz, and DD are the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th scoring options behind Ant. They have to show up. They are killing Minnesota with their no-show performances.

Minnesota had 88pts in Gm 1.

Will they crack 90pts in Gm 2?

They are on 74pts with 11min to go. Down 19pts.

SGA 34pts on 11-18 FGA 11-13 FTA. 6ast 3stl.

Just like his regular season averages against Minnesota for the last 2 years.
