I look forward to seeing what GSW does to their roster to retool around Jimmy and Steph. They will have a chance to contend once again next season.

This Minnesota team is likeable with Julius Randle now playing unselfish team orienated basketball.

I would be happy to see them make the Finals.

They had a graphic there for Randle.

Playoffs = 23.8ppg 48% FG 35% 3PT
Last 15 games of season = 17.1ppg 35% FG 28% 3PT

Has Randle been the best 2nd option of the 2nd Round? I think he has a good claim to be. He has been fantastic.

Golden State hasn't shown much interest in running the court with Randle.  Which is interesting because I don't typically think of Randle as a transition player.

The field is narrowing.  If we can't make it, which is likely at this point, I want to see an Indiana-Denver series using this ball:

All u hear about before season start LeBron, Leonard,Harden, Butler, Curry, George, Lillard, Durant, Davis but where are they at? Home?these guys are old and no way if I are a team I wouldn?t trade or sign these guys?can?t beat Father Time, that?s why I wouldn?t sign a player over 32-33 year old guy to a big contract
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Golden State is kind of like the Lakers in that, if they can find a way to land a star center this offseason they can absolutely be back to legit contention. I know they missed Curry almost all of this series but I still think in general their lack of size was glaring too. Draymond can only do so much. Post is fine as a rotational player, that's it. Kuminga has size but doesn't play like a true PF/C.

Yeah but their run is over. You can?t rely on a 38 year old Curry and Butler and Green who are mid 30?s. How do you purpose they get that? And the west is a blood bath so can?t load manage. They?re done, Kerr is delusional. Let?s not forget the Spurs. They?re taking the Warriors spot next year.

Apparently Jamal Murray now has an illness and is questionable/game-time decision

I think OKC wins and advances tonight anyways though

I have been disappointed in SGA in this series.

He had a fantastic regular season and was putting up insane numbers but he hasn't been able to meet the standards set by Michael Jordan or prime Dwyane Wade in the playoffs. SGA is well below them.

The MVP should meet those standards.

I think the physicality is bothering him. He?s a finesse player.

Also, Jordan and Wade in the same sentence.   :o

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Bad shot by Westbrook on their last possession of the quarter

Yeah, that lack of physical power & explosiveness in comparison to Wade stands out.

Power + speed vs speed without power.

I put them in the same bracket here because they are the two SGs who are primarily slashers that led their teams to a title. That played at an MVP level.

That then creates the benchmark for where other SGs should aspire to reach who have a similar game.

I am not sure there is anyone else to compare SGA to. In terms of the mountain top he aspires to climb to. Any other comparison ideas?

I have a weird disconnect with Christian Braun.  His stats and metrics look quite solid but any time I actually watch him he's in the middle of screwing up, lol.
