Well, that should have him back in time for the Finals...

Story filed to http://ESPN.com: LeBron James suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee from his collision with Donte DiVincenzo in Wednesday?s Game 5, a league source told ESPN. The injury entails a 3-5 week recovery timeline.

Sorry call me a bad person but I do not buy it

Just another ready made excuse for him and it gives him cover as well while Luka, Reddick, etc take more of the bullets

He did finish Game 5, right? He didn?t look hobbled at all. And this is a guy who falls a lot on the court and it looks serious but then he gets up like nothing happen. Now after his absurd flops, one of them led to a Grade 2 MCL sprain? Lol ok.

Yeah LeBonds looked fine after the hit. And do players normally get ligament injuries from head-on knee collisions?

Regardless I was literally waiting for a report like this to come out after they lost. It's like clockwork with this guy.

Glad we don't have to pay Jalen Green $105M over the next three years.

Series can't be great for his trade value either.  For example, are you really looking to trade Giannis for a package centered around Green?

GS is going to mess around and lose a 3-1 series to this team, aren't they? Granted, I could also see Houston choking game seven at home, too.

Thought GS may be able to challenge OKC, though I'm not so sure about that anymore.

Man Houston is stepping up tonight.

And yeah, I know he's Curry. But idk if he's really helping GSW's cause tonight by jacking up these 35 footers double-covered. Again, he's Curry, but it's led to quick empty possessions while HOU adds on the other end

How is Draymond just allowed to viciously yell at refs and not get any technicals??

How was he not ? sportsman of the year?

The league will be so much better off when this clown Green retires. His behavior is such a stain on the NBA, and the refs and league just let him get away with it.

Curry with another 40-footer bad miss leading to a long rebound that leads to Rockets FTs

But then again no one else on GSW is scoring right now

One of the more sorry displays I?ve seen in a long time. GSW mailed it in in game 5, looked like they were hanging in most of G6, but absolutely terrible in the fourth.  Houston?s played well but hasn?t looked like GS offering much resistance.

Golden State has zero answer for Adams and Sengun besides hacking Adams, but Adams has hit FTs tonight at a decent clip too lol

Credit to FVV.  I don't know if Houston will ultimately get out of this round but that dude has a lot more left in the tank than I realized.
