The most recent Pistons playoff win before this was Game 4 of the 2008 ECF against Boston?  Wow.

Who won the Finals that year?  ;)

Big win by Detroit! I think New York is in trouble, or at the very least in store for a long, grinding series.
Yeah, agree. Knicks are in trouble. Detroit look the better team. Knicks are a shadow of themselves.

Oh that is sexy. Jamal Murray has a beautiful jump shot.

Nice change after all the bricks from the 1st game.

I still think NY in 7 because HCA and the experience, but yeah so far DET has looked like the better team easily. That 21-0 run in Game 1 though is a big reason it's 1-1 and not 2-0 DET.

Exciting week ahead though in DET, next two games there probably with an electric crowd

Knicks = 10-35 3PTA
Pistons = 6-27 3PTA

Combined = 16-62 3PTA for 25.8%

Yet, both teams were still tripping over each other to take another and another 3 pointer down the stretch. Take a 2!!!

Pistons = 27-47 2PT FGA
Knicks = 24-46 2PT FGA

Combined = 51-93 2PT FGA for 54.8%

That 4th quarter execution was mind-numbing.

Kawhi actually looks healthy. Haven't seen him like this in several years. Has that herky jerky style back.

Payne got 3 fouls in the first 4 mins he played, but why didn't he play the 2nd half? That dude was also a big part of the 21-0 run in Game 1, and probably could have done more than Mikal Bridges did with the latter just bricking open shot after shot

Yeah, if it gets to game 7 then I don't see Detroit winning in MSG. Both 4th quarters they've looked like they were feeling the pressure.

That said, I'd bet more on Detroit in 6 than New York in 7 right now. New York looks old and soft compared to Detroit, which is funny because they're a team that is primarily in their prime. You have to wonder if this is the "Thibs effect" and them feeling the wear and tear of a heavy minutes season.

It's early but I won't lie, Nuggets look really good. On both ends

Kawhi is sort of keeping LAC in it for now

Kawhi is looking like Kobe right now.

Yeah even the commentators were saying it. OG, Brunson and Hart all played another 40-44 minutes tonight, and Bridges had 39. Maybe some of this was also because of the physicality, but KAT looked very slow and was mostly a non-factor tonight. It all adds up. Detroit is also a younger team and they are clearly outhustling the Knicks with their youth and speed, it's just on some occasions Brunson and others on NY get bailed out by the refs by flopping all over

This is such a good series LAC-DEN. Chess match between both teams. Lots of talent, experience and championship players. Feels like another 7 game series this round
