Free agent 7-footer Alex Len will sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, agent Mike Lelchitski tells ESPN. Len intended to sign with the Pacers but has decided to land in LA after the Lakers rescinded the Mark Williams trade and created new opportunity

Make that 5.5 championships now

Upgrade on Koloko as backup center.

I expect Jaxson Hayes will continue to start.

I can't believe this guy is still in the league. He had limited mobility to begin with and now is an absolute statue.

The rescinded trade between the Lakers and Hornets is getting really messy. The Hornets already filed a complaint with the NBA that Mark Williams is healthy and that the trade should push through.

Like I've said, Jokic/Sabonis/Hartenstein/Chet are gonna absolutely eat Hayes/Len alive in the playoffs.

Sixers have Embiid back but are still having trouble winning games they should. At this rate they could very well miss the entire postseason including play-in

Haliburton's attempts at on-ball defense are a consistent source of amusement for me.

And this is why it's important that Boston starts winning chips more frequently and not screw around and lose before the NBA Finals or lose in the Finals to guys like 2022 Golden State (very winnable series esp being up 2-1 before collapsing). The West is getting tougher with newcomers like Wemby, Holmgren/Williams/SGA, the young Grizzlies, Ime-Rockets, Jokic, and now with Luka magic in LA which makes winning chips more difficult.

Luka will guarantee the Lakers at least 4-5 titles within the next 10-12 years while he's there. The C's need to continue building on that banner count.

whoa big fella....he didn't bring any to the Mavs.  Why is that going to change suddenly in LA?  Lebron isn't playing until he is 50.

They still aren't great defensively

I know the doom and gloom and panic but...

It might not matter this year, but I am visualizing long-term. Luka himself is already the greatest offensive player in NBA history. Luka will be a magnet long-term. He'll be a magnet for guys like Giannis, Jokic, Tatum, Brunson etc. And it's also LA Hollywood. Idk about LeBron but he's still putting up monster numbers at age 40, he'll probably even stay till 45. He is a healthy athletic freak. I have never seen him tear an ACL or Achilles in his career. He's beating father time so far.

How would they sign any of those guys then if he's doing that?

He's not even the greatest offensive player in the current NBA with a last name ending in "ic".

Bol Bol is on some sort of hot streak again in Phoenix. It seems like he does this every year and yet no team has given him the chance to gain rotation minutes. I remember he got traded to Boston at one point and he was just let go. He looks like a legit NBA rotation player, might even be a better version of Boucher in Toronto.
