Heat suspended Butler for 7 games, good for them

Hahaha that?s hilarious.

I need to go find all the Heat fans on Twitter that were all so talkative two summers ago thinking they were getting Dame and they were going to run the East. Oh look how far they have come.

The HILARIOUS part is, Heat fans were literally laughing when the Celtics got Kristaps while they were "supposedly" getting Damian Lillard. Then not only did we get Kristaps and win it all, but the Heat didn't even land Lillard, or anyone else

OKC down 12 at the half at home to NYK. They really struggle with size, with KAT having 13 rebounds and them being outrebounded by 8. Interestingly, though, it's the two wings - Mikal and OG - that are leading the way scoring with 19 and 15 apiece.

I don't think J Butler will be traded. Too hard to match salaries. He makes so much money. Heat over the cap and limited by what they can take back. Likely trading him to a team who is also limited by what they can take back making a narrow financial margin for a trade in terms of matching salaries. Made even more difficult by his high wages of $50+mil.

He will be a FA in the summer. He can leave then.

If Washington was able to move Bradley Beal, with his immense contract, the Heat should be able to figure out a trade for Butler. Wouldn?t make sense for Miami to just let Butler walk for nothing. He still has value.

The problem is Jimmy has a player option worth 52M next season. He?s not technically an expiring contract. Willy Jimmy opt out just to be able to sign with another team? Or will he opt in and deal with the uncertainty of being traded? Will his new team, if ever, be willing to shoulder the 52M opt in contract?

Wiggins single-handedly winning this for OKC.

They've been trapping Brunson the entire time I've been watching. May see some of that with Tatum on Sunday, especially if no JB.

Thankfully unlike Ant and Brunson, Tatum can work around that  :)

But it would be so nice if the team was fully healthy and played everyone against OKC Sunday including Jaylen.

That OKC win also helps us a lot in the standings. Another game separating us and New York for the 2 seed. And meanwhile, OKC now has won 14 straight. Boston vs. OKC Sunday, can't wait!  ;D

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Cavs showing no signs of slowing down. Up big over the NBA Final runner-ups of last year at their turf.

CJ McCollum went nuclear on the Wizards tonight. He had 50pts in 31mins. 18-27 from the field.

You going to leave out the part about Luka and Kyrie not playing?

OKC, CLE and BOS are Tier 1 in the league and that?s it.

New York might be close but not quite there yet. Orlando maybe but only if they are fully healthy.

Just frustrating CLE never loses. I guess the hope is they draw a team like Philadelphia first round and that PHI team is fully healthy lol

This Spurs Nuggets game is BOX OFFICE

Wemby vs Jokic has been awesome.

Makes me glad the Jays and the Celtics got their ring last year, seeing all the talent infusion around the league and talented teams continuing to grow as well like OKC/CLE, etc. And IMO, Wemby is the next face of the league, I am interested to see how San Antonio adds starpower alongside him and once they do GG

Kyrie didn't play either? Man - they've been so, so lucky with injuries to teams they're playing. I'm not sure that they've played a good team yet that was actually healthy. Maybe one of their Milwaukee wins, though that's stretching the definition of "good team".

I think that has at least something to do with how well they're playing.
