Bobby Marks: Roster/Financial ramifications on the Paul Reed waiver in Detroit 💰Cap hit: $2.48M 💰Cap space: $15.5M 💰Below the minimum floor: $1,418,136 🏀Open roster spots: 2 ? via Twitter BobbyMarks42

They must be looking to trade for big incoming salary?.Butler?

I like Paul Reed. We don?t need him, he?d be duplicative of Queta, but he?s good back up center, 3rd or 4th big.

Paul Reed would be good for Indiana. They have a big man shortage. They got Thomas Bryant for a big bodied center. Paul Reed can give them a quick mobile center. Pick and choose depending on matchups.

Paul Reed is listed as a 6?9/210lb Forward. Is he a better option than Tillman?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I am rooting for Houston in this one.

I'd love to see them knock OKC down a peg.

Golden State acquire Dennis Schroder from Nets for DeAnthony Melton & 3 2nd round picks

I liked this response

He was ruining the tank!

Wrecking Brooklyn's draft prospects with his strong play. I thought they would be one of the worst teams in the league. I have been surprised how competitive they are most nights. In large part thanks to Schroder's creation (scoring & playmaking). Removing him from the equation should drag Brooklyn back down where they want to be in line for a top 5-7 pick.

I don't know how to rate Tillman vs P Reed. Tillman has looked so bad when he has played this season compared to how he played in Memphis.

I see Paul Reed more as a small center than a forward. Nick Nurse tried to turn him into a PF but it didn't work. He just wasn't skilled enough away from the basket. Detroit tried him there as well and did not like it either.

I don't think P Reed is worth changing our roster for.

Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero has hit the six-week mark since he went down with a torn right oblique. Banchero's original return was hoped for in the four-to-six-week range, however the star forward isn't close to returning.

"He was not able to practice [today]," Magic coach Jamahl Mosley said Friday, as shared by the Orlando Sentinel. "He?s doing the same ball-handling, a little light movement on the floor, and then just trying to find ways to get the cardio up without applying too much pressure.

"But again, he?s just slowly moving his way to touching the court."

So no F Wagner and no Banchero for the foreseeable future.

Jalen Green's ability to get separation is amazing. Such an incredible athlete. So difficult to stay in front of.

It is frustrating to see how inefficient he is with his finishing and jump-shooting. That guy should be the #1 option for Houston. The player they need to take their offenes to the next level and be a legit title threat in the West.

VanVleet (1-8 FGA) and Jalen Green (2-7 FGA) are a combined 3-15 FGA 1-2 FTA for 7pts in 34 minutes in the first half. Sengun is only 1-7 too. D Brooks 2-7 FGA. Jabari Smith 0-3 FGA.

How are Houston ahead?

Amen Thompson and Tari Eason are the only ones scoring. Amen had a great first half. Amazing how many loose balls he comes up. Similar to what Derrick White does for us in the backcourt only a bigger stronger more athletic version at forward for Houston.

Haven?t been impressed with the #1 overall pick Risacher. Also not impressed with Jabari Smith Jr. seems like he?s regressed from last year.

So the Warriors roster is now

G: Steph, Schroder
G: G Payton II, Podz, Moody
F: Wiggins, Hield, Lindy Waters
F: Draymond, Kuminga, Slow Mo
C: Trayce Jackson Davis, Looney

They got 13 legit NBA rotation guys.

Kinda feels like they need a move to consolidate that though. Little high end talent. Only Steph. Lots of quality role players.

The addition of Schroder will make it even harder to keep all those young wing players happy due to the playing time crunch.

SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Jared McCain out indefinitely with meniscus tear that requires surgery.  Have the Sixers figured out how to make injuries contagious or do the basketball gods really, really hold a grudge for multi-year tanking?

Yeah it's insane. To be fair, PG13 and Embiid have been injury prone, but Maxey and now McCain are also getting hurt. Crazy.

Mathurin has gone off the boil these last 5 games. He had one good game with 19pts. The other 4 games he supplied 13pts, 11pts, 8pts, 8pts.

This is a guy whose principal value is scoring and who provides little else outside of scoring. Although he has rebounded the ball much better this year. His defense continues to be a question mark. His passing is non-existent. Only 1.8apg a game for a guy who does handle the ball. Negative AST:TOV ratio with 2.1 turnovers per game.

Cool stat in the in-game graphic.

Anthony Davis is #2 in the entire league for 30+pts games this season with 13. Giannis leads the way with 16. SGA is tied with AD at 13. Then LaMelo and Tatum.

Surprising to see AD so high.

Klay Thompson didn't look washed up to me tonight, 29 points including a dagger 3 to silence the crowd at Chase, his homecoming game
