Cleveland looking good and getting ready to knock off the Knicks in NYC. They may be a sneaky second seed candidate in the East this year.

Also, Denver is in trouble. They're getting ready to lose to Toronto to go 0-3 on the season. Just no bench whatsoever and Murray playing subpar ball.

EDIT: Of course as I write that the Raptors give up a two possession game in the last 20 seconds to go to OT, including two missed free throws. Smells a little fishy - and by fishy I mean Cooper Flagg fishy!

Brutal stat line for Marcus Smart tonight. Finished with 1pt, 4reb, 7ast and was 0-11 from the field, 0-8 from 3pt.  :-X

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

In honor of Moranis:  Lebron had his worst shooting game since 2007.  He still went 3-for-14.

Currently in the East only the Cavaliers, Celtics and Magic have a positive point differential. That's a weird stat.

That Taylor Hendricks injury last night was absolutely brutal. Running down the court, went to stop and his leg just broke in half. Never seen anything like that.

The NBA has fined the Philadelphia 76ers $100,000 for public statements around health status of All-NBA center Joel Embiid, sources tell ESPN.

Sources said the NBA?s investigation showed that the Sixers did not violate player participation policy with Embiid?s missed games, but in fact with the public comments that did not properly reflect his health issues with his knee.

Mavs vs Wolves on TNT. Anthony Edwards scored 24pts in the first Q. He?s on fire.

Interesting lineup for Minny. 3 SGs 1 SF 1 PF.

G: NAW
G: Ant
F: DiVincenzo
F: Jaden McDaniels
C: Randle

The 3 SGs all 6-5 / 6-6. Jaden McDaniels a long 6-8. Lot of defensive versatility for those 4 players. Can all switch onto each other's man.

That would work well with Gobert at center also. A stronger defensive unit. Randle an offensive unit. A five out.

Luka just hit a 40 foot 3pt shot.  Nothing but net. Ridiculous.
