The Cavs are going to be that team that goes all in for a top seed in the East and ends up getting bounced in round 2.

I have said that I think people are underestimating the Cavs.  People seem to think that Garland and Mitchell can't play together.  Probably the same people that thought Tatum and Brown couldn't play together.  Garland and Mitchell are both very good players.

What CLE lacks is solid wing depth.  They have guards (Garland and Mitchell), they have bigs (Mobley and Allen) but they are short on wings.  They have Dean Wade, Okoro, and Niang.  I think they can get by without a lot of scoring from the wing or SF, but they need the wing defense and general play making to balance things out.  Not as big a deal in the regular season, but something that can be exploited in the playoffs.

Agree. I am interested to see if this is sustainable for them. They beat the Knicks which is a good win and then beat the Lakers...that game was lopsided in the first quarter as the Cavs got out fast but after that it was pretty even.

Tatum and Brown aren?t 6?1? guards that get abused in the postseason, though. They can?t play defense together, which is why the Cavs will likely be a first or second round exit again.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Have you seen this Dwayne Wade statue they just unveiled in Miami honoring their all-time leading scorer ?
Lawdy, Lawdy, it is ugly and does not look like him. Looks more like some tormented soul suffering in Hell.

I don't understand that statue at all. The pose is horrible. What is he doing? Jumping up celebrating? Is that it? Why not make a statue of him dribble turning the corner. He has such an iconic driving posture with how low he gets it. Why show him in a non-playing posture?

And what the heck did they do his face? Atrocious.

People are saying that the Wade statue looks more like Lawrence Fishburne.  ;D

Lawrence Fishburne if he got hit in the face with a shovel, perhaps.

Houston got more offensive rebounds than Dallas have defensive rebounds as we near halftime. HOU working them over.

Will Doc live through his contract in Milwaukee? They?re getting blown out yet again, this time by Memphis.

Really makes no sense they fired Griffin, Doc has come in and been way worse record-wise.

And it may be for naught since Giannis is likely going to demand a trade soon lol

Disaster incoming

Breaking: Orlando Magic superstar Paolo Banchero has been diagnosed with a torn right oblique and is sidelined indefinitely, sources tell Shams Charania.

He will be re-evaluated in four-to-six weeks and return to play will be based on how he responds to treatment.

The Dame experiment is turning out to be a failure. Their bench is horrible as well. Giannis has apparently named his 2 preferred destinations - Miami or Brooklyn. Bucks must be in panic mode. They have a year to fix this mess and convince Giannis that they will still be a contender.

Turns out defense matters, especially in the postseason. Who would have thought, lol. Giannis wanted Dame and the Bucks seem to be letting him run the team at this point . If he asks for a trade that will be so rich.

Lillard played 33 minutes tonight vs the Grizzlies. Finished with 4pts, 6ast, 2rebs and went 1-12 from the field, 0-6 from 3pt. Yikes.

Maybe not even that.  There's grumblings that he could ask out this season, though I seriously doubt they'd make that move midseason. But I do think it's a real possibility next summer if they don't right the ship.
